As far as I can see, your monitor maintains the curent resolution
Yes, and I think you need a new installation and cleaning of folders and registers

Another thing I think about it is to uninstall GUI, start the game without it and see if it will go

Your problem maybe a Windows compatibility one?
Windows 10 needs to run in compatibility mode Windows 7.

Hmmm, tried a full install, cleaned up all folders and my register, and yet I am still getting the same CTD.

Not sure how to uninstall my GUI, I'll look into it though

Roberto,i wrote that your monitor maintained a resolution 1920x1080,so I guessed

Is that correct?

I have not played with Conus WS for a long time so I did not realize that you actually started it
There is no reason why you can not use it if your monitor supports 1360x768
There is obviously an installation error

If we talk about Conus WS, it's best to be in the http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=170191

@Roberto,
Where did you install your SH3 game? Check please if the files or the location is protected. Chose all game files > Properties and see if they are write-protected, they should NOT.
If in doubt, re-install the whole game in a dedicated folder *different* from the setup program, e.g. in C:\SH3. And update it to 1.4 as for instructions before installing any mods.

Then, in your pic above I see 'Koenigsberg'. That's not the default campaign start, AFAIK. Do you use SH3 Commander? In that case you must read the big manual of GWX (yes, sorry!) and do as they say: download/use the special files for SH3 Commander, otherwise you are guaranteed a crash...

Ahoy mates:Kaleun_Salute:

Thankyou Alex Ahnenerbe for this wonderful mod - it has really transformed the look of the game and works beautifully on my setup.

Would like to use it with the beautiful German Subs compilations but the game always CTD if I try to use both mods together via JGSME.

Im running the game on Windows 7 64-bit, and have other mods installed:

Bad weather fix V1.1 (Forte)
Das Boot Clothes
GWX - No Medals
Military Mod
Pascal Port People
Radio Deutschland
Real Damage
Sobers Real Smoke
Terrain Upgrade V1.6
DB Speech Pack
Sky V2

I also have installed and run game through SH3 Commander.

I'm not running the 4Gb patch.

I have tried various combinations of mods and different orders -everything works fine, but if I enable Subs everything CTD when the mission or campaign load. The problem seems to just be between WideGui and German Subs.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

Thanks:)

ivanov.ruslan 03-07-18 02:38 AM

I dont think there is a problem between the two mods
You can try with 4 gb patch !
http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php

or http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=174225
There is included 4 gb patch

@Roberto,
did you resolve your problem, if yes, what's the solution?

Install help?

Sorry if this is a bother for anyone, but this is my first time installing mods into SH3 and I cant seem to figure out how to get it to work? I installed GWX fine, but I cant figure out how to activate this mod. Im always told this one is one of the best for 1920x1080

You need the JSGME (Generic mod enabler). If you have installed GWX then you should have it in your game directory already. Take the files from this Widescreen mod into the MODS folder and activate it in JSGME.

The latest final release of JSGME: http://www.mediafire.com/file/5sryab...setup_v2.6.exe

You should have one exe. file.

The only thing it gave me from the download link was a large .7z file

7z is a compressor like Winzip. You must install 7z in order to extract the files.
