Well thank God for those tv and cable executives. Just think where we would be without Most Extreme Elimination! That was some quality programing, never laughed so hard.

For some reason, the two main pieces of the sound track stayed on my mind for long time to come.

Sadness and happiness can be so close to each other. Love might be what we want, but life demands compromise and so often we cannot have it. The way in the movie told what it told at this ending stage, was a brilliant, ingenious, elegant trick by screenplay writers. Hard not to feel an emotional echo in yourself after you have seen the full movie. Beautiful. I did not expect this when I switched it on on TV. And then that smiling nod at the end, agreeing: "All is fine. We did it. But I wish I were in his place." Fantastic narration. So much said with so little effort. Good acting. I felt speechless, and a bit devastated and build up again at the same time. Its very easy to underrate this movie. You shouldn't. :03: :yeah: Beautiful. That is cinema at its best: magic.

^ King Curtis is the man.

Try this on for size. The Danish National Symphony does a great rendition of the music from the equally great spaghetti Western " The Good, The Bad and the Ugly " directed by Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach
