The closest Great Lake is over 4 hours away. Lake Nipissing is still solid as is the only Lake in North America that does NOT have an island in it. lake Bernard.

We let the basement wood stove go out. Just using the main floor stove now. We got pepper plant seedlings growing right beside it.

Temperature here this fine AM, 28F and we got 3" of snow for me to blow.

I went out at 11 this morning and blew my drive way and 3 neighbours too. Got back in 1 1/2 hours later to find out the hydro went out. The genny isn't ready to go to work yet.

After our bad ice and snow storm last week, the ground still soaked we had storms with high winds 40-60mph. So all those damaged trees came down again and more power outages. One poor fellow was killed driving by a falling tree..I'll be out with the chainsaw again all weekend.

It's always coldest before the spring.

9 degrees this morning headed for a high of 19 and blowing snow.:-?
