I've been using the same backpack for years. I got it for free at a VA meeting. It's very basic but it's almost square and it's perfect for runs to the grocery store, since I still don't have a car. It will hold four boxed pizzas, or one pizza and extra stuff, or a gallon of milk and a 2-liter bottle of Dr. Pepper. It will hold three boxes of cereal. It will also hold a very large reference book when I want to take the newest one to game night to show to my friends.
It developed a tear last year, and I still kept usng it until it finally got so bad stuff was in danger of falling out. I looked everywhere, and everybody wanted $30-45 for a decent pack. Finally I was at a Wal*Mart a couple of weeks ago and found one for $15. It's big enough to hold a pizza box but it has little compartments and can't hold nearly as much stuff as the old one.
I got so frustrated I finally went on Amazon, and found the very same one I'd had for all those years, for the price in the link. I jumped to Subsim and back to Amazon. Some things are just perfect for the job. Now I need to get a car. :sunny: |
