I'm not 100% sure of the rules, Neal will probably give a better overview, but I think that if a wolf attacks a guardian, the guardian will die, but if the wolf attacks someone protected by a guardian it will be beaten off. Quite possibly why AVSM and Mookie survived after the attack on Chad.
Therefore, perhaps the question should be asked, who did AVSM and Mookie protect last night, for it was one of the accused, then the other is the wolf.
Of course, if they protected each other, or my assumption that a guardian will die if attacked directly by a wolf is wrong then the entire process is torpedoed out of the water. :arrgh!:

The rules do not appear to specifically say this, but I think it is implied: if a werewolf attackes a guardian, the attack is beaten off. I didn't make up those rules myself, I copied those rules from another game, so they appear to be a little less than totally complete, as StdDev has pointed out. But, the important thing: I have applied the rules consistently. :shucks: In the next game, we can add the additional provisions, such as when two werewolves attack each other in the same night (both die)
or if a Hell Hound attacks a human who is guarded by a guardian, who is in turn guarded by another guardian (the first victim, the human, dies)
or if a two werewolves attack the same human who is protected by a guardian (I dunno... whatever will keep the game balanced works for me).
