Sort of hypnotic, uh? It's raining right now and this song makes me feel moody ... :yep:

Read the reviews too most of the comments are from old people saying how good the old days were

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKYRjNAakVc

Lyric's included :yep:

"I can see her lyin' back in her satin dress
In a room where ya do what ya don't confess
Sundown you better take care
If I find you beenn creepin' 'round my back stairs
Sundown ya better take care
If I find you been creepin' 'round my back stairs
She's been lookin' like a queen in a sailor's dream
And she don't always say what she really means
Sometimes I think it's a shame
When I get feelin' better when I'm feelin' no pain
Sometimes I think it's a shame
When I get feelin' better when I'm feelin' no pain
I can picture every move that a man could make
Getting lost in her lovin' is your first mistake
Sundown you better take care
If I find you been creepin' 'round my back stairs
Sometimes I think it's a sin
When I feel like I'm winnin' when I'm losin' again
I can see her lookin' fast in her faded jeans
She's a hard lovin' woman, got me feelin' mean
Sometimes I think it's a shame
When I get feelin' better when I'm feelin' no pain
Sundown you better take care
If I find you been creepin' 'round my back stairs
Sundown you better take care
If I find you been creepin' 'round my back stairs
Sometimes I think it's a sin
When I feel like I'm winnin' when I'm losin' again
Songwriters: Gordon Lightfoot

Well familiar with Cherry Vanilla; she was part of Andy Warhol's Factory collective and was a part of Bowie's early career as a publicist; here, in Hollywood, she was an icon to the groupies. I recall seeing that same photo of her as a poster in a record store here in LA; I did make it a point to stop in whenever I passed by... :03: :D

She must be in her 70s by now; she has had a very interesting life, indeed...

Nah, that particular UK custom didn't translate well to the Colonies. Your comment does remind me of an incident involving Devo; they were going to play their first ever show in LA and there was a great deal of anticipation in the local Punk circles based on the video for Jocko Homo; Punk was still new to the US and the punks only had what was going on in the UK as a template, including the expectoral displays of 'appreciation'; I was at the show and the band members were horrified at the gobbing they endured to the point of Mark Mothersbaugh angrily and explicitly declaring they'd had it with LA and would never play here again; as a result of the show, the wealthy father of a young Devo fan offered the band a boatload of money to play at a private party for his daughter and her friends; Devo's disdain for LA quickly evaporated, even faster than the gobs...

Here's Chery's take on the Punks from 1977...

...and this is the real deal (WARNING: a bit of choice language involved)...

It is interesting to note how a goodly portion of the audience in the clip were not even born or were very, very young when the Pistols first came on the scene; the mark of truly influential and/or great bands or artists is when their audience easily spans generations...

The question I have about the above is: Why is there a California State Flag displayed above the stage to the audience's right in a hall in Brixton?...

I did not know that this was a song with text. Thought it was an instrumental. :D

On the other hand, without a text this would never have become a song.

Talking about the fast lane reminded of the Eagles Fast Lane

Boy I would like to see eisenwurst's girlfriend (in his last postings) dance to this one. I bet her mother was a go go girl from the 60's :yep:
