And as for Scotland, the least said the better :nope: I just wish they'd make their bloody minds up if they want independence then lets send the brickies up to rebuild Hadrian's wall :haha:

The SNP goes it alone there will be no power sharing.
SKY News |
It would take the red and blue parties to form a coalition then and I don't see that happening somehow.

In all seriousness, though, Bossmark, you don't seem to have any real idea just how thoroughly rotten, corrupt, incompetent, sclerotic, intellectually and morally bankrupt the Scottish branch of the Labour party had become. Machine politics at it's worst. Not the party it is in England and Wales. Jim seems to have had pretty good connections within Labour, surely he could tell you just how bad SLab are/were?:hmmm: Quote:

OK..
The local England elections and after 118 results so far I'm not waiting anymore so here is my view. The moderate winers were LD's and UKIP making steady progress but no real break though. Begin to look like the public are forgiving the LibDems or they have short memories. I have no idea why Toff Boy was boasting as clearly he and the Tories have not moved forward to increase their postion. For Labour they held out against the news media that seemed to suggest Labour was going to loose big time. So if there is a general election next month I would say the result would be a hung parliament, neither Labour or the Tories have the drive to stand out above the other party's. |
Don't forget, people tend to vote differently depending on whether it is a local or general election.
Add to that the Tories have overtaken Labour into second place in Scotland, Labour have failed to make any real significant gains in England and the London Mayor who doesn't support Jeremy nor invited him to the after election party. Not a good couple of days for Labour I'd have thought. |

Such talk, even in jest, generally elicits a groan and roll eyes reaction up here. http://countryballs.net/_nw/0/14708013.png History does show that Hadrians Wall wasn't really all that effective at keeping the Picts out of Britannia.... Mike.:O: |
Tories are anti Muslims, Labour anti Jews, all we need is the Liberal Democrats to be anti black and that should see the end of the BNP. :03:
Wow not a dull moment in British politics. This sarcastic post was bought to you by Big Red the only Red that is true Red. :03: |

What will happen if toff boys loses\\wins the EU referendum
1.The best case scenario toff boy loses and a vote of no confidence is called over the Tory government. 2. Toff boy loses he resigns and Boris Johnson wins the Tory leadership (god help us) 3. Toff boy wins and we stay in the EU. |
