I believe the medical term for such people is moron.

a few weeks ago, unfortunately, I was behind one of the morons when they decided it would be ever so clever to activate the mechanism in rush hour traffic.

They do it to annoy other drivers they find worthy. It's the smell of freedom even morons can enjoy. :dead:

Another reason to buy a dash cam.

Betonov 09-26-15 12:45 AM

Dash cams are illegal here. Breach of privacy of the driver in front.
But one is allowed to use his phone as navigation so I made a dash mount for the phone and use it as a dashcam.
Wont do me any good because the footage itself would be illegal but its perfect for moron shaming.

Cotton Eye Joe. :yep:

I think Mapuc made a valid point as a lot of refugees are not from Syria or Iraq but claim to be as people from those country have a higher chance of getting asylum in Germany. The police and boarder protection have confiscated a lot of forged "Syrian" documents that were in the possession of people from other Arabic and African countries. So the question of what we know about the people coming to us is valid.

Too late. I've got one of those refugee accommodations 150m from where I live and a second container village is being build 12km away.

Is Merkel taking much stick in Germany for her open invitation to up to one million migrants then days later setting up border controls.?

I ask because some of the articles I've read and seen on tv are shifting the blame on much of the present EU situation at her feet.

Difficult to answer as anti immigration statements don't get much cover in our news. I'm not sure how much support/Flak she really gets over this. I just know there are a lot of people who are less than impressed with her actions.

That is the impression I get regarding the thought of a growing number of EU countries/politicians.

The few German national I met in Lanzarote recently were certainly scathing of her.

That's odd. It's only recording what you and everyone else behind him can see with your own eyes. Are there similar restrictions for security cameras on buildings?

What if you had somehow recorded footage of a major crime?

Betonov 09-26-15 10:40 AM

Licence plate number is seen as ones own personal identity despite everyone around you can see it and it's used to identify the owner of the vehicle. One of those circular laws we inherited from Yugoslavia. Old Titos farts making laws about using technology.

Security cameras on buildings must not face residential areas or private property unless specifically allowed by the owner of said property. No restrictions on public areas.

When it comes to a major crime footage, I think that the court will rule if such a footage can be taken as evidence.

It's also one of those laws that are not enforced. At the most the cop will demand you turn it off.
