STEED 11-27-13 10:12 AM

SPOILER ALERT MUCH???

Rhodes 11-27-13 02:29 PM

Didn't you said something about spoilers...:hmmm: Ah, here it is:
"11-24-2013 11:16 PM Sailor Steve: Spoilers? They don't bother me a bit."

And Steed is lying, Tom Baker didn't appear on the ep!

Yeah, I don't know what STEED's on about. I didn't see Tom Baker at all.

Jimbuna 11-27-13 05:08 PM

He may have been pulling your leg.

I've already seen it. I was just giving STEED grief.

Would you like to borrow my copy? Or maybe my glasses?

The way you reacted, I didn't think you'd seen it, so I was trying to trick you :03:

Yes, it was a bit.

Sailor Steve 12-26-13 11:49 AM

Just watched the Christmas special. It was pretty good. A bit different. :sunny:

Rhodes 12-26-13 05:42 PM

Already watched! Quite good special and yes, different in may ways!

frau kaleun 01-03-14 06:26 PM

I just watched all of it over the New Year's holiday, saw bits and pieces at Christmas but since I was working my way through the entire rebooted series I wanted to wait until I got caught up to watch the whole thing. I thought it was pretty good altho I'm not entirely sold on Clara as a companion yet. And overall I thought the 50th anniversary special was much better, but hey - it's hard to beat Ten AND Eleven AND John freakin' Hurt all in the same episode.

Warning: possible spoilers ahead if you haven't watched it:

And I'm still not sure how the whole "the Time Lords are beyond the crack in reality" bit works with what they did to Gallifrey and the TLs in the 50th anniversary special, or with the fact that the crack was already there when Eleven took over... unless what they did to Gallifrey when they went back into the past in the 50th special retconned the future in some strange way. Oh well, wibbly wobbly timey wimey and all that.

Anyway - kind of curious to see what the new guy does with the character.

In my "Watch an episode every day campaign except this time around I'm watching two old episodes to make up forty-five minutes each day" mode I've just finished the original series (for the umpteenth time), The Movie and am into the new series by a few episodes. I love them all.
