Hagues record is like a Bible for me, spent days in checking the convoys and Im pretty sure there was not much polish ships.. I remember seeing only once or twice polish ships and even those were joining the convoy for a short period of time. Mainly the ships from other nations than UK, CA and US were Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Greece and a LOT from Panama.

Actually Panama had an impressive merchants fleet that helped in carry supply to UK. Not sure if these ships were under the Panama government orders or only loaned ships, same as the greek ships where the greeks made huge fortunes by loaning their merchant fleets to the allied forces.. remember Onasis.

War is not only about killing and atrocities, but also a HUGE opportunity to exploit the pain and sufferings and get rich. Is why war is the most profitable business ever.

Ok maybe it wasnt ON202. ON202 was probably escorted by HMCS Saint Croix. Or saomething like that. When St. Croix was torpedoed by Bahr's U305, their survivors were taken onboard HMS Itchen which in turn was torpedoed and the only survivor (from original St.Croix crew) was found by Polish merchant VISTULA. So it could be another convoy indeed sorry. :)

Took me almost a day to merge the two mods, but worth the try, now we have a lot of new harbors and working Suez and Panama channel. With the work thfeu58 did on the common.mis, we can even insert a Pacific campaign :P

Rongel, if I send you my new roster, do you have time to work out the flag.dat?

should we remove the "Poland" entry in cfg file, the "FreePoland" one or both of them?

Anyway let's doing things clear. By saying Poland and FreePoland we are meaning respectively: "German occupied Poland" and "Polish government in exile".

Although during Nazi and Soviet occupation Poland stopped being a national entity, we cannot remove the first entry (Poland), because it is used for assigning blue/red color to Polish territory into the strategic map (depending on its diplomatic state with Axis/Allied at various steps of the war). See the explainations by Zedi on this topic.
What can be done, I think, is not to assign to "Nazi ruled Poland" any shipping traffic, in order to spare Polish players to witness the "capital crime" of "(Nazi) collaborated Polish units" :DL. If this is what you were complaining you should address your request directly to Zedi, possibly by providing him with historical evidence that such a units never existed.
as for FreePoland or "PolandInExile" entry, it is a new nation that we should add to defside.cfg file to represent the activity of Polish in exile Navy. Obviously it doesn't correspond to any territory on the map. I think there are plenty of historical proves about the involvment of Polish navy (and army) alongside Allied (especially UK) forces, so I presume this is something we have not to discuss here.

that was the mod that I was urging you to have a look at some posts ago. Very well done! :yeah:

P.S. I've almost finished with the revision of stock nations in defside.cfg file (sorry for the delay, but yesterday I couldn't work on it). They will be ready in a matter of a couple of hours or lesser. Once finished I'll focus on the newly added nations.
