Jesus guys u got a patch like 2 weeks ago. Chill out for a second and get off their back. They'll get it out soon. I want it as bad as every1 but in the meantime download some awesome MODS that re available and play the same. Im kinda getting tired of all these people pushing and pushing and are never satisfied. Ya the game has some quirks every game does, but the developers are trying. Plus we have a wonderful modding community which wil make the game flawless soon like NYGM did for Sh3. RELAX:nope:

Could they also remove the disc check it doesn't work properly most of the time on my computer, it's annoying having to try 4-5 times just to play the game in the first place.

Please supply patch 1.3 for SH4

I am quite surprised to hear that there might be no third patch. It is definitely needed in my opinion.

I don't know if you quite understand the situation. The word on the forums is that that UBI might not even LET the devs START a patch 1.3. That's what we're petitioning for. We haven't been pressing the devs. We like the devs, it's the publisher that's irritating.

I agree, a Patch 1.3 should be in the works, and sooner rather than later.

Short answer : Yes.

Longer answer : SH4 is akin to a Mermaid. Yes the stuff above the water is gorgeous and promises much enjoyment. But when you get down a little deeper under the surface you discover all the important stuff is missing and what is there smells a little fishy.

The thought of no more patches is almost enough to send me into a coma. As Neal pointed out so succinctly, there are some serious flaws that need to be ironed out of SHIV. If things remain as they are I would expect SHIV to collect dust while I play SHIII with the magnificant Grey Wolves mod again. They were happy days. :up:

So please, deliver patch 1.3 some time this year. :yep:

EDIT: I voted Yes on the Ubi Poll thread question as have 99% of the sub sim/SHIV community! Not even Saddam got 99% of the vote in Iraq during his time in power. :lol: Seriously I hope they listen to the ground swell of opinion.

Um, they have as much as said that unless many people actively bitch about it, they won't patch any more, and even then it's unsure. Right now the default condition to assume is no patch the way things look, which is unbelievable considering how FUBAR this release was.

The devs should be ashamed of themselves if this is the state they are willing to leave their game in. :down:

They just didn't make enough sales during the initial release they'd argue? Well, they should have considered that before they made their beta version gold.

C´mon Ubi give us the patch we need

Hoping to not hijack this thread, but it is NOT the Dev's who released SHIV in the ridiculous gamey & dysfunctional state that it is in even after 2 patches.

It is the UBISOFT MANAGEMENT, they are the ones who set the development cycle and authorise patches and improvements.

I can assure you that if the Dev's had the opportunity you would have a simulation.
