Just letting everyone know that I'm working on the entire Elite U-boat Crew Uniforms, Black, Brown, Green, Blue & Red.

The crew will have impoved shirt eagles, belt, boot lace leather & buttons.

I will be recalling all uniforms to reload the up to date ones as I go. BDU has spent a bit more money on the U-boat crews.

Stay tuned.

I require 3 x good officer faces to put into my new improved Elite U-boat Uniform - Black, Brown, Green, Red, Yellow & Blue series.



The faces belong to the 3 folders located at; C:\ProgramFiles\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Crew\ Head\OFF

.Head03:ping:

I will require all the files contained in each of the three. If someone could be so kind as to upload some faces for me to have a look at/download. You will of course be mentioned in dispatches.:up:

Please members you are my only hope ! in getting the new uniforms out of the factory & onto your crews.:yep:

I have uploaded 2 that I like. I believe they were both done by Hamburger.

I have slightly modified one of your excellent splash screen to use it with GWX.

Download it here: Removed by lack of permision

Installation: just copy Intro.tga into your SH3 Data\Menu\Loading directory overwriting old one.

it is ok to Mod and adapte the mods for yourself!:yep:

however Ven as spent a lot of time doing d those
splash screens....:nope:

did you asked him permision to change is work and
repost it for download mate!?:hmm:

Don't take it rong , but if everyone does that soon
we will be Looking for our original work in the midle
of all released reworked Mods!:shifty: ;)

Hi matey, this hole thing was handled correctly, JCWolf was 100% correct in informing you of the correct procedure/s of modding etiquette, and you replied exactly how any Subsim member should who was/has been educated on these rules and I thank you for that.

Please don't let this affect your ambition to want to mod. If you are unsure about the left & right of arc of the modding world, please read the Sticky thread “SUBSIM'S RECOMMENDED MODDING ETIQUETTE GUIDELINES”.

It’s a good idea too, if you are going to mod, start your own thread call it something, and show off all your mods in this one thread.

Permission granted to mod the Splash Screens my friend.

Thanks JCWolf, another catastrophic post diverted from diaster. Thankyou; to all Subsim members of this forum, for not jumping in and ripping SubV apart.

A little surprise for you all on page one of this Drive Through.

NEW IMPROVED ELITE UNIFORMS !

I will upload the uniform tomorrow night, there are another five different coloured styles on the modding table being prepared for shipping to your U-boat base.

Enjoy the pictures (I hope).

I make no apologises for having my mods stored at JCWolf’s house. I had my account open to the public and someone decided to change/alter some of my mods.

I use JCWolfs site for a few reasons. 1st he is a good mate of mine :()1: and I want to raise the awareness of his highly professional web site. 2nd my mods are protected from hackers :hulk:. 3rd it keeps mod mods in one tidy area :|\\.

If you still do not wish to register (Is there a reason for this? sorry if this question is out of line :hmm:) I will send you the links separately.:yep:

I am here to serve everyone’s needs, and if you want a mod let me know and I will ensure you get the required download link. :up:

  • On the Wednesday 10th October 2007, Neal Stevens posted on Subsim a thread titled "Salute-Abraham". This was a devastating thread to the Subsim community, the text was short and to the point, simply informing us of the following; "I got a PM this morning with bad news. It appears our friend and Subsim member Abraham was "found dead" in his home in Amsterdam". Neal Stevens attached two links with additional information to obviously let all the members read why/how this tragedy occurred.
  • I did not personally know or even communicate with Abraham in the Subsim forums, and for that I truly regret not doing so. I have taken the time to locate his name in the many thousands of active skippers at Subsim and I have read his threads & posts. You can learn a lot about a person by the way he/she writes & Abraham is no different.
  • To Neal Stevens & the Subsim community who knew & had Abraham's hand in friendship, I send my condolences.
  • I have made a very small mod for you, hoping that this may help Abraham live on in the Silent Hunter III world. The mod contains a picture of Abraham to be used in conjunction with JScones SH3 Commander Software product.
  • Salute Abraham, has the correct file structure pathway. Just follow the folder links & drop Abraham’s picture into the appropriate folder.
  • Salute Abraham has been zipped with WinRAR.
  • Salute Abraham is not compatible with JScones Generic Mod Enabler (JSGME).
  • If this is unacceptable & has angered you in what I have done I will remove this immediately. My intent was not to hurt you, but to pay tribute to Abraham.
  • I am a modder and this is what I do. I have made this for you, which is the least I could do during this difficult time.
  • RIP Abraham.
He shall grow not old....as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary him, nor the year’s condemned
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember him
Least We Forget. :cry:
