Hi - just returned to SH3 after many years of modding SH4. I have a GWX install running and decide to give LSH 2015 a go. Luv the look and feel of it ... however ... the look of the Sea just doesn't "do it" for me. I run either MEP V5 or Sh5 water for GWX when running GWX and when I compare with LSH 2015 water .... the LSH look is just not as good... so couple of questions;

1) What environment mod (if any) does LSH 2015 include ? and
2) Is it possible to load MEP V5 (and will I lose any LSH features. I did see in the release notes for MEP that it works with LSH V5 .. but doesn't mention LSH 2015.
3) Could there be a problem with my LSH install causing water to not look like MEP ?
4) Anyone tried the SH5 water with LSH 2015 ?

For me the water look is quite a big deal ... I always hated the stock SH3 water and compared with MEP and Sh5, the LSH water looks too close to stock (very pastel like, flat, featureless).

Thanks in advance for any replies. Other than the water, loving the look & feel, even though my laptop seems to hate the loading times :-)

@ polyfiller, i understand very well what u miss 2016 in L/SH3.
After playing SH4/5 for a while… the original SH3 visual effects (water/sky/particle… DX8/9) always locks “like a bad joke”!
This IS the ultimate SH3 problem 2016, special for new/young Subsim Gamers (without any love and understanding to “our” old Game).

All the very fine done “visual” Mods (MEP, ATM, SLS ) can NOT expand the technical SH3 limited (DX8/9 effects 2005), to bring the high visual level of SH5 (DX10).

For LSH3 Edition 2015 we check/compare the additional “visual” Mods (Edition 2010<>2015) very carefully.
Additional Mods ATM und SLS was in, MEP was out.

Feel free to activate our MEP Mods (Edition 2010) to Edition 2015 – and try it.
My advice is… always activate the Edition 2015 GUI at last in the Modlist.

Like Magic wrote/says, u must download the whole Supermod Edition 2015 (v5.1), to get the ENV_MEP_xxx additional mods.
Just expand the LSH3_V5.1_FULLVERSION.EXE into an temporary folder and copy the ENV_MEP_xxx additional mods and paste it into your Edition 2015 JSGME Modlist

I just check quickly the content of the LSH3 Edition 2010 (v5.1) ENV_MEP_xxx additional mods.
All the v5.1 ENV_MEP Variants should be work with Edition 2015.
Just be shure u never use ENV and ATM at the same time.
And read the ENV Documentation PDFs first, to understand the ENV activation rules!

Is it possible to have a separate stopwatch please in the 2016 version for taking the targets speed. I currently use a kitchen digital timer for the 3 minutes and 15 seconds needed in real time, for a fast 90 shoot as obviously TC cannot be used, but could be with a new stopwatch.
The stopwatch timer used with the stadimeter is too unreliable.

In original V15 GUI, in both periscope view there is the original "Junghans" Stopwatch, to start/stop time manualy by click the watch.

Witch "other" stopwatch function u mean?

I have tried everything, to install this mod.
All I get, is a message saying; "Can not install mod here!"
This, after it says, "Install in original sh3 folder"
What am I doing wrong?
Or am I as thick as the turret housing/

Hi gaztop
Try creating a new folder with a name like SH3 for example.
The installation will offer you to browse and you could then choose C:\SH3 and it should install ok.
You can name the new folder anything you want to call it, the installation is looking for a folder where to install the game.

S! to all. At last I am going to have a go at LSHIII 2015! Never had a machine powerful enough up to now.
One simple question, but it is important for me.....

I have an AZERTY keyboard (French) but in GWX I had all speech, voices in German, Text in English, but keyboard French!!
Is there a possibility to have the same setting in LSH3?
I have used the AZERTy for do long it is really confusing to have to learn the QWERTY!:o
