i am stuck on a mission to get spy into londenderry in ulster.
playing with UI4.14 (Reaper7) i cant for the life of me make out how to get the spy to get into boat a clear of. i am about 30metres from shore.
what am i doing wrong.:hmmm:

You must be submerged as you approach shore and when you surface you are asked if you wish to launch Special Ops boat.

i was wandering about the messages mod that has been added to the game, if it says agents report convoy leaving say Freetown, is there an actual convoy to intecept?
would be nice if it was true.:salute:

Well i am a german speaker and i am not to good in english but i hope i can give you informations about my problem.

everything is going fine but i am giving my orders in meters and its a problem because the Speech Recognition tool makes false deth deeps or can't get the right distance to a target.

Is there a way to fix that problem

as i said its just this isues thet i want other mass units the german ones

Hope someone can help me and thanks fro this great community

Hi guys!
Small report after 1st patrol:salute:
1.Playing "Coastal waters" I've sunk 5 ships in the coastal area and 4 ships in the british port. On my strategic map I've only 5 marks (open sea), and each time I load the game those 5 ships are displayed as sunk in my message box, while in captains log I have tonnage for 9 ships, and number 9 is accounted as sunk merchants (no marks on the map for those 4 sunk in the port, no messages in the box re. them also).
2. Each time I'm approaching to Kiel through the channel trying "to get home" I got CTD at the same point (appr. 50 km from harbour/bunker itself). I've tried to return via Scaggerak through northern approach, but got CTD not far fron the northen mouth of Kiel harbor. Before it I've no CTDs while departure to patrol and during the whole mission. The last phrase in dbgview output file (when CTD happens) sounds as "Key arival and hook":-?
Who knows what the hell is this? What is the reason of CTD?:ping:

How much memory does your computer system have ?

On "Main Screen - Optionen - Spieleinstellungen" check that "Einheitensystem" on right hand side is set to " Metrisch"....

i ve noticed that some of the messages are actually for my boat (U-69)
does that mean there is a real interceptable convoy.?
i m only inquisitive because if there is no point to the messages, i will disable mod, cause it gets monotinuse after awhile at tc4600 to keep clicking the message.:salute:

Yes you will still get red messages :up:

You can try Saving Progress while in canal prior to getting close to Keil, exit to main menu and reload save progress and continue on to Keil.
Doing this may free up some available memory before reaching Keil.


If you are using MOD's like SteelVikings Interior, Stormy's SDBSM v1.3 you are running on the bleading edge limits of your available memory.
Those MOD's require lots of memory and and CPU/GPU think time.
when you approach Keil Port, the game attempts to load all the Bouy's, Building, Peir's etc. and runs out of environment space (RAM) faster then it can obtain vitual memory (swap to disk) and game crashes.

There are still many Texture's that still need to be Optimized. These Texture's that are not Optimized really eat up free memory and most are preloaded and stay in memory.
There are tricks that can be used to reduce the size of these questionable textures by as much as 50% and still maintain the Hi-Resolution quality.
This does not sound very important but because SHV preloads texture's, it is most likely the biggest issue in SHV right now.

If you want to run Hi-End MOD's you may want to upgrade memory to 8 gig.
This is what I did and it made a MOJOR difference.
