Tiger 33s Ultimate Sound Mod v2 (contradition in terms perhaps) sounds to be a fantastic mod and one that I will DEFINATELY be grabbing when it comes out.

Here are some vids:

sounds good.

Just a note:

1.2 Unified Installer is available now.

but be warned it isn't compatible with the official 4.09m yet, so I read.
also the LoLwaffle campaign still runs the Unified Installer 1.1 and won't change for a while.
so its important ''NOT TO REMOVE/MODIFY'' the current installation you use for the LoLwaffe sorties (to make sure no problems occur in the flights)
but when it happens I will let you know in the LoLwaffle thread with plenty of time in advance to get the stuff sorted out.

Has anyone tried the Ultrapacks from SAS? They seem to tweak alot of the flightmodels saying them to be 'more realistic'? How are they?

Task Force 10-14-09 02:16 PM

No... havent ever tryed the FM mod... maby we should draw straws...:hmmm: to see who gets to test it... lol

I'm slightly dissapointed in the fact the UI 1.2 isn't compatible with the official 4.09m patch. I wonder if the SAS fix would work with UI 1.2 it did with 1.1 so I don't see why it shouldn't. Any volunteers? (I would if I had enough HD space!)
Edit: After a bit of experimenting I found the SAS fix works with UI 1.2 the only thing that doesn't have to be done is don't install the SAS default sound patch.

So, SAS...

I'm looking at it, and I'm liking what I see, but what does the jury think?

Anyone tried the Advanced Engine Management section of it? :hmmm:

OK whats the deal with mods and stuff now?

I have reinstalled IL-2 and patched up to 4.08m

I downloaded the official 4.09 patch when it came out a few weeks ago but then I got bored and unistalled IL-2

Which mods are people now using? Are you patched up to official 4.09.

This has become a mess.

HunterICX 10-31-09 06:46 AM

We are using the same stuff as before

4.09m1b + 1.1 UI

right so you haven't gone to the official 4.09 patch then.

What issues does teh official 4.09 have with the AAA UI?

Also what has gone on at AAA, seems to be so disorganised since Magpie upped sticks and took a lot of his stuff.

Task Force 10-31-09 12:13 PM

Official 4.09 dosent work unless you install a thingy that makes it work, Hunter hasnt moved on yet, and You cannot join the server if you have official 4.09

HunterICX 10-31-09 12:31 PM

for the UI to work with the full 4.09m requires ''fixes/patches''
I don't like that idea of having to patch some mods up to get it to work.
so I'll wait for a full UI release compatible with the full 4.09m

Kptlt. Neuerburg 10-31-09 10:36 PM

I agree with you on that Hunter, I'd rather wait for a compleatly 4.09m compatible UI than going with UI 1.2.5. One thing though is not quite clear is that would the 4.09m patch be mandatory if someone wants to use the next UI version (UI 1.3) if so that means all severs private or public that currently use the UI will have to update to 4.09m.
