I too. Agree that we need a patch to bring the game up to a status as to where it is realistic and works properly. It is terrible to have paid this much money including the S/H fees to receive such a incomplete game with "bugs" way to many making the game very much "junk"

I have quit playing it for now. Matter of fact. I would like to return it for my money expended for it. What a rip!

I don't think this game has a chance of being the cult classic that Silent Hunter 1 was without at least TWO more patches. The FFT mod helps tremendously but this game has serious flaws, and though I've found it to be mostly stable, I did have 5 CTDs in an hour recently. Have played very little since.

UBI -PLEASE PATCH THIS GAME!!! It has such great potential!

I agree with Neal. I bought this game the day it came out, installed it, it crashed, it ran slow, and I became irate that I wasted money on this game. Patch 1.2 makes it playable and somewhat enjoyable, but not nearly as much as SHIII.

Please fix this game!!!

As a long time customer of Ubisoft and the Silent Hunter series, I ask sincerely for one last patch to button-up those issues noted in Neal's post. It's the right thing to do, and it's good business. You'd be suprised how often those two things go together. You've made a beautiful sim which could have the mass-market appeal a "niche" game does not normally generate. Do us and yourself a favor, and finish what you started.

Count me in. I love SH4 for everything it could - and I hope, will - be. Patch 1.3 please!

I bought Silent Hunter IV when it first came out. I have played it may'be 8 hours in total. I just can't get into it with all the bugs. It is currently shelved pending fixes.

Please make more patches for SHIV.

Why are we begging for another patch? Does Neil know something we don't? I thought I heard while back someone post that 1.3 is in works for sure. Did that change? I sure hope UBI didnt quit on SH4 yet.

'Critical' features necessary for game functionality that are broken and detract greatly from the game and will most likely require manipulation of the game code to correct, can ONLY be fixed by the Devs via a patch. Our very talented Mods can only build apon what remains after support (patches) has ceased. Please allow the Devs to fix key features that only they can and you can rest assured our Mods will then have a product they can polish to a shine.

In addition to what Neal has posted, please refer to the "Priority Bug List" (I hope this is still in the works guys) currently being compiled that will list from most critical to least what needs to be fixed and address as many of them as you reasonably can.

Count me in!!! By all means.
SH4 needs patches 1.3, 1.4 .... as many as it takes to have everything working the way it was supposed to be. Don't count the work made by the modders, since they are doing what the developers should have been done in the 1st place. And one more thing, the list Neal wrote includes some bugs, but they are not limited to it. I think people at UBI know all the bugs, so they have a pretty clear idea of what bugs need to be fixed. And another vote for the patch. I know you will never make everyone happy. However, what Neal has listed are really basic playablity issues and you reputation is at stake.

Please step up and take care of this. It real is to the benefit of all.
