*Note: There is no such skin. A man can dream, can't he?

Up Periscope!!.....:rotfl:

Do you use SH3Cmdr? Do you have the "Randomise Gramophone tracks" option selected?

If yes to both, there's the reason why the prefixing numbers - SH3Cmdr adds them on load to force a "shuffle" of the tracks.

A simple rollback removes the numbers (assuming they weren't there to begin with ;)).

Thanks for the info. Yes I do use Sh3 Commander, wouldn't play without it. Now I know where the numbers came from.

Save getting stressed over "will this be in and will that be in"..this is what beta testing is for.
We are working as fast as we can( without compromising the GWX structure ) We need to give the testers time to play everything ( beleave there's a lot ) and give us accurate feed back. Please be patient.
Bottom line is, as you have heard snippets from the beta testers you will not be dissapointed.:smug:

Nuff said...thanks Pants. Eagerly awating the release of SH III Ver 2.0 :p (aka SH 3.5)

That's one option. Or you can remove the Gramaphone folder altogether and then replace it once GWX is installed.

2) My grammaphone ALWAYS skips... has there ever been a fix to this? I did try converting all my song files to .ogg and the result was it still skips.
I converted all mine to .wav and have had no problems.

For performance and weight reduction Pants converted all our Gramophone bits to ogg.vorbis just so you know... Its a basic selection for those that don't know how to manipulate SH3 files... That way they have at least something... Otherwise players can add, delete, or change as they wish.

Stock SH3 didn't come with anything at all in there... so we filled in the hole with some period music... Though I would like to add some Pink Floyd to mine.:arrgh!:

Hello everyone... just thought I would interject here with a link to a previous post of mine that explains how to organize your .ogg gramaphone files so they won't skip anymore. I've been playing on and off since I wrote the following link message and have yet to encounter a problem.
Here is the link for how to fix your SH3 Gramaphone:

By the way, I am running GW1.1a for the curious!

Thanks Pdubya...I will try these tonight!!

Look, I have nothing planned this weekend at all. That's a 48 hour unabridge testing of GWX. Not to mention all next week for the holidays to get a truly object critique of the super mod!!!! If that is not enough to allow me the beta version to test....I just don't know what I might do to myself... :shifty:
