Spring was here back in Dec last year, even the weather forecasters wrote off winter. :har:

Lighter days now and the birds are chirping and that bloody ice cream van with its bloody music is back to drive me mad!

:O:

Although those temperatures are inviting, IF we were to get those suddenly we would have wide spread flooding of epic proportions. Nova Scotia would have it a lot worse. Their only consolation is that the extra water could go into the ocean.
I would much rather have a slow warmup, a little below freezing at night and a little above in the day time.

Two options without resorting to violence.
(1) turn your hearing aid off,
(2) wear headphones with your choice of music.:D

Just go buy some ice cream. It won't make the noise stop but you will feel better. :yep:

And it's not over. Snowing out right now. :/\\!!

There’s another number that puts this winter into perspective.

That 159 centimetres of snow sitting at the airport is 10 times the normal amount of snow on ground for this time of year. Cote said the Charlottetown average for this time of year is 16 centimetres.

At least you had a break, the one round our way never stopped! Every weekend throughout winter, come hell or high water bloody 'Teddy Bears Picnic' got played. It makes me wonder if he's selling stuff other than ice cream in winter?:hmmm:

You don't have to be old to be deaf, but it helps.
Like anything else, you will eventually learn to ignore it. Kinda like 'listening' to your wife nag at you.

Wow, more snow?

We got 3" of rain yesterday. I am really tired of winter :/\\!!

swamprat69er 03-22-15 08:52 AM

I would rather have snow than rain and a slow warm up.
