You see what I mean about distance and details

here is a shot of Just the bow to the aft gun platform the bridge crew
details are much diminished I didnt realize how much of a difference
there would be between the two boats.
2nd pic shows improved handling after engine uprating.
(still cant get around to ram before gun crew has finished them though)

Skinning isnt among my skills. Id like too but ill be gratefull
for any skin for that comes with a custom tower paint
for VIIC/4 conn to match the type IX Hull paint.
Id love sharks teeth for all ubers.

and Lightening for Uberodin, thors hammer for Uberthor
and Wings for UberValkyrie respectively on the conning
towers. along with simulated ships score flags painted
underneath.

Sadly no Skinner has taken a real interest in Uberboot.

I ain't no skinner either but i could make those lightning, hammer and wings c/tower emblems for you. Although simulating score flags is a problem, it's similar to the tonnage-score pennants or flags issue raised some time ago.

Yeah I understand the issues so i had been thinking a line or two
of minor colored flag shapes underneath the sub emblem (minorly enlarged)
running along the bottom,
thats what I meant by simulated score flags.
no effort to paint em on the emblem itself.

[edit] I am aware of the Low resolution issues.

What is German naming convention for ships Male or Female?

If you talk about ships in general it´s neutral "DAS Schiff / U-Boot"

But usually ships are female. "DIE Bismarck / Hood / ..."

I like the historical aspect of this game, no doubt about that. The majority of my playing time is spent in that realm, that won't change with this or SH4 , but choice is a good thing, and whether is gets a sticky or not, Uberstein here does have alot to offer for those who are looking for a different experience:yep:
