Q - How many David Camerons does it take to change a lightbulb?

A - Well, first of all he has to turn off the electricity by pressing the switch. You'd think this first step would be easy, but on the way to the switch he meets Lib Dems who try to convince him not to cut off the power so quickly, an angry rabble of Trade Unionists who threaten to strike if he goes near the light switch, and the BBC who plaster his face with unbiased propaganda about the 'correct' way to respond to light switches. When he finally battles his way through to the light switch he meets an EU representative who tells him he can't turn it off because under EU legislation he must install two new light switches while also paying for Greece's faulty light switch. In the end Dave decides to go home because he realises it is impossible to turn off the light switch due to the way Labour installed the wiring. Put simply, the light switch will stay on forever, blazing up a huge bill, until it explodes. Then we'll all be in the dark.

So what is new? :hmm2:

Jimbuna 11-10-15 03:54 PM

It's a starting point and no other political party in the UK have done as much yet but no doubt they will soon be jumping on the bandwagon.

Shame on them.

Grumbling sounds coming from some Tories...Too weak, not enough, big deal. :hmm2:

Gordon bloody Bennett, thats all he's wanting to re-negotiate. :nope: Cameron and those pro EU campaigners can go and get bloody stuffed, me thinks that I'll be voting Out.

STEED 11-10-15 05:31 PM

The UK and Europe would be better off without the bloody EU.

Always was going to be a Conservative 'CON' but I've a feeling no matter how hard he tries, he won't stop the British public from voting for leaving.

I know I most certainly will.

David Cameron has complained to his local Council about service cuts.

That's a bit like Heinrich Himmler complaining about the air quality over Auschwitz!

Tory minister Tracey Crouch has said that families struggling to get by due to welfare cuts will "just have to give up their satellite TV packages".

In other news, Rupert Murdoch has just announced he's backing Jeremy Corbyn in the next election.

If it goes lets get out of the EU, HagFish Toffboy will do a Irish Number on the UK to get stay in vote victory.

STEED 11-14-15 05:40 AM

After the events in Paris is HagFish Toffboy going to stop these scum coming back to the UK?

I would gladly let the whole bloody lot out the country but none of them will ever return and what they leave behind will be sold off.

The would count would be overseen by an independent body so I doubt any vote rigging would succeed.

He will just re-run it until he gets what he wants or some other stunt to keep us in.

Well, we Eurosceptics in Scotland have a small problem:

Scottish Nationalists - pro-EU
Scottish Labour - pro-EU
Scottish Conservatives - pro-EU
Scottish Lib-Dems - pro-EU
Scottish Greens - pro-EU

Many of the Independent MSP's are pro-EU as well.

That leaves that oik David Coburn of UKIP (decidedly disliked in Scotland) to lead the "Leave" campaign. I also strongly suspect that Tommy Sheridan will lead a separate socialist alliance anti-EU "Leave" campaign. It's highly doubtful either campaign will co-ordinate their efforts.

Do you trust either of these two?

Coburn:

Sheridan:

It will be very interesting to see if the SNP and SLab will let their MSP's campaign on their own convictions or if they have to rigidly follow the party line. The SCons will let their people campaign as they see fit.

Trying to convince people that there wasn't any vote rigging will be difficult. It's been very interesting to see that a fair few people in Scotland think the Indy-Ref was fixed, even ones who voted No.

I am sick fed up to the back teeth with nationalism, of any kind!!!!

Mike.

I thank my lucky stars this individual will most likely never be in the position of leader of my country.

It just keeps getting better and better or should I say more worrying and worse...

Quote:

BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg asks Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn whether he could ever support military action against Islamist extremists.
Mr Corbyn called it a "hypothetical question". Asked again, he said "I'm not saying I would or I wouldn't... there has to be, at the end, a political situation to it".
