That reads like a load of crocker beans to me. :03:

I fully agree, don't get me wrong, my intention was only to show that little if anything of a political nature can actually be believed.

Merely reporting it, old chap!:03:

At least the RIC is a movement, not an actual party. TBH, Labour's 1980 "Militant Tendency" would fit right in.:hmmm:

As for Brown, he's doing the same as Alistair Darling - jumping before he gets voted out.

Mike.

Pass those links on and he is some what confused and thinking about it. I don't trust the media and certainly don't trust politicians and we are now in the season of selling the BS to the voters. I would like big changes in our political system but as said before nothing will change. UKIP has rocked the boat but they are too weak to cause any real big problems.

Just been reading a interview Mitch Feierstein (Author of the book Planet Ponzi) gave back in June there were some good points and one very good question..

Even in the UK they are using ridiculous stuff, like adding the proceeds from selling heroin and prostitution to GDP. Now, first of all how do you calculate this stuff?
Agreed, how the hell dose this present government work that one out!:hmmm:

I'll do what I can, but not paying proper attention to what's going on up here has a lot to do with why Westminster's in the crapper it's in.:03:

People in England may be disenchanted with politics, but the opposite is now true up here. You can't move without falling over it!:hmph:

Mind you, politics is a subject all of it's own in the Scottish Education System - it's called "Modern Studies".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modern_Studies

Now you know why Scotland seems to produce so many Politicians.:D

Mike.:O:

I think Westminster looks at Scotland as the toilet bowl of the UK. If you guys are planning the long over due 3rd Jacobite uprising to crush Westminster I will not stop you.

Nah, Westminster just doesn't think about anything beyond itself.:O: Besides, Labour thought it had a safe power base up here and devolution would secure it. Didn't the now Lord Robertson say that devolution would kill the Nats dead?

Now Labour have just been hoisted by their own petard.:yeah:

Problem is, the hard left in Scotland survived Thatcher, unlike in England. Probably due to distance. I wouldn't be too surprised if, in the event of independence, Scotland went full blown Soviet, followed by an economic boobies up as it's found out that Socialism doesn't flippin' work!

One of my work colleagues quipped that all we'd do in the North East would be trading Westminster politicians for ones from the West side of the Central Belt. All the wealth that we create up here would be redirected to prop up all the social welfare programs down there.

Generally I don't mind Glaswegians - but I absolutely hate Weegie politicians and their mindless devotion to Socialism.:Kaleun_Sick:

Another ex supporter of Cameron attempts to undermine him...

Quote:

Former Environment Secretary Owen Paterson is to call for Britain to leave the EU and negotiate a free trade agreement with the rest of Europe.

He will also say Britain should give notice to quit the EU before negotiations begin ahead of the in/out referendum promised by David Cameron.

Clegg rules out coalition with Ukip

Nick Clegg has ruled out ever joining a coalition government alongside Ukip, saying it had been "difficult enough" finding common ground with the Tories.
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/clegg-rule...2.html#bpIqgAe

So if we face a simular result with UKIP in play the Liberals will say no. So who would they support? Clegg is on record for saying as long as Ed is leader of the labour party he will not side with them and even the green party is out the running..
Quote:

He also took a shot at the "anti-everything" Green Party
Clegg is backing his party into a corner but why? Who knows but he is facing a big reduction in MP's and the on going voting collapse.
