Been doing the rounds on the news comments postings jim and there are a great number of people who are thumping mad at this. Lots of comments attacking the lies that were told by those two nitwits and still today I see Gideon is still telling lies! And those lies are being attacked by the posters who clearly have had it. These people are more angry than me! :haha:

Lets hope Labour can take full advantage of these two clowns :yep:

I honestly doubt Miliband and Balls would fare much better.

I hear Ed is under attack from front & back benchers, news reports are pointing to a toppling. :hmmm:

Yes and if the you the know what is going to hit the fan, then it will be next week :hmm2:
Not 100% sure but I think these stories have come from the Tory rags such as the daily "bottom wipe" mail

Makes no sense as no one has come forward to challenge. Maybe they are waiting to see the by-election result where labour comes. :hmmm:

Sunday Times ran a YouGov poll...

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/poor-poll-...s.html#3oi8ODk

I'm not reading much into a poll of just under 500 people but as we know the media will.

Very true.

The best thing Labour could do is have damn good look at themselves and decide what they actually mean these days. They also need to get rid of Milliband, nobody takes him seriously. The big problem is who'd take over.

As for the Conservatives, they need to finally split between the far right nut jobs and the moderates. If ever a party has a case of schizophrenia it's that one. Oh, and the Scottish branch needs to break off as well and actually become something that properly represents the many "small c" conservatives that do exist up here....

Mike.:hmmm:

Speaking of far-right nut jobs...here's a nice little bit on Nigels Polish bedfellows, a man considered too radical for Marine Le Pen!

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/...z-korwin-mikke

Some titbits to take away:

Quote:

women’s opinions are shaped by the sperm of the men they sleep with, that they are “on average” less clever than men, and that nearly half of women who tell a man they don’t want to have sex with them are feigning reluctance and should be ignored.
Quote:

There is no proof Hitler knew about the Holocaust, he has argued for years, and he told the Observer that Mussolini, who stripped Jewish citizens of property and civil rights, then sent thousands to German concentration camps, “was trying to protect Jews”.
Quote:

“Women want to be led by men, ” he claimed. They particularly like to be led to the bedroom, he added, saying that men should often ignore a partner who said no to sex. “Women usually pretend that they don’t want [sex]. You must be competent enough to differentiate whether she seriously doesn’t want, ” he said. “The percentage of women who pretend that they don’t want to have sex, but they do want in fact, is about 30 or 40%.”

Asked how a rape trial could be prosecuted if a woman’s words were not accepted as evidence of her intentions, he said men should not be convicted unless there were two witnesses to the crime.

“If you don’t have two testimonies, he must be acquitted, ” he said. “Or some proof or some visible sign of rape, but if it is only her words and his words, there cannot even be a trial.”
Delightful chap... :nope:

Meh.:hmph:

It's a pretty soundbite, but I doubt he'd be able to deliver. There's far too much out of his or the UK's control to guarantee a happy outcome. He's got a looong way to go if he wants to get into No.10, TBH.

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/...o-zero-britain

Salmond's up to his mischievous tricks again;

http://www.newsweek.com/2014/11/21/i...te-283751.html

"It’s likely there is a potential route of progress through Westminster, which has not been the usual circumstance before. Who knows, there might be one or two things we can knock off for the good citizens of Liverpool and Newcastle, because they badly need a champion of some sort."

The SNP as a champion for Northern England against Westminster? That's an interesting thought!

"Cursed to live in interesting times" indeed......

Mike.:hmmm:

Agreed...here's part of an email I received from the party yesterday.

Quote:

First, I will undo the damage the Tories have done to our country:

I will scrap the Bedroom Tax, which unfairly punishes the disabled and the vulnerable
I will scrap the Health and Social Care Act, which damages and undermines our NHS
I will scrap the gagging law, which limits our freedom of speech and right to campaign
I will reverse the Tories' £3bn tax cut for millionaires, so we get the deficit down but do it fairly
Second, I will take on the powerful vested interests that hold millions back:

I will force energy companies to freeze gas and electricity bills until 2017
I will give power back to those who rent their homes, by scrapping letting fees and stabilising tenancy agreements
I will raise money from tobacco companies, tax avoiders, and a mansion tax to fund doctors, nurses, careworkers and midwives for our NHS
I will reform our banks so that they properly support small businesses
I will stop recruitment agencies hiring only from abroad
Third, I will start to rebuild a fairer, better Britain:

I will raise the minimum wage, to ensure that everyone that does a hard day's work is properly rewarded
I will promote the living wage by giving tax breaks to companies that pay it
I will ban the damaging zero-hours contracts that exploit British workers
I will bring in a lower 10p income tax rate, cutting taxes for 24 million workers
I will support working parents with 25 hours of free childcare for three- and four-year-olds
I will help more young people get on the housing ladder by getting 200,000 homes built every year

Print that out and keep it Jim. Might come in useful should Ed actually get in.

Wake up these pigs run the world now and your nothing more than a play thing to them. Did you hear those pigs done it again and got another silly fine! What a joke, bad one at that.

Any way I hear Ed has had ago at everyone else and Nigel of UKIP has stepped up! Did you see that one Ed?

In the Red corner Ed & in the purple corner Nigel. Nigel wants another LBC radio one on one debate just like he had with Clegg. Well Ed if you back down you are going to look like a right plonker, after all Clegg went though it so can you.
