Must have been a nitro shipment in his backpack for sabotaging a bridge or somethin'... hmmm... Did you take any hull damage?... Where did you have to insert the agent, and about what date was it?

Those agent insertion boats blowing up has happened to me a couple of times, especially in rough weather, its no big deal.

Moonlight! Just the person! Checking into the Aux Sub Chaser... that ~is~ it's skin... There are a couple others in it's folder though, so I'm checking those out now, and we'll see about enabling them alongside the "stock" one...

^Well bless my soul, I would have never guessed that its normal coat of paint was white, thanks for looking into it for me.

No hull damage taken.Place of insertion was at west side of Bungo Suido strait in Japan in July 1942.
It's not a case of artillery bombardment.

It's not quite a white, but a very light grey, and looking toward the sun a bit, it reflects as a white. Looking into a few changes for it though, but that'd be later...

Thank you for that. We'll see what kind of detail (if any) is to be found in their "gear pack"...

Can someone tell me how I can post a screen shot so I can show some of what I am encountering while testing .52?
My old memory seems to have forgotten, if I knew at all before:hmmm:

Hello team,

Boah ... I'm just reading the last 50-60 pages of the thread, which I've missed so far.

A lot has been going on since last year, you've been very diligent.
Still - in this project is still a mountain of work ...

A great problem seems to be the ship physics in the future ... this is a big thing (very expensive).
At that time TorpX had done really good work with its ISP mod.
Was until today the best thing I have seen on this topic in SH3 + 4.

Well ... I should slowly get back into the running before I forgot everything about SH4.

Greetings Ralle

What's the correct location to take stadimeter readings on carriers? Is it the deck like in SCAF?

No, I'd follow the stock idea of using the top of the tallest mast for all targets.

I've not done a thing to FOTRS regarding correcting mast heights or having a specific spot used for stadimeter readings. I've looked at a couple...."their all over the place" would be an understatement! Double R will probably wade-in having his two cents worth on "fog of war" ideas.:O:

What you have is what you get.

Don't be so sure of that. There are shore batteries at several locations within 6nm of that drop point. They must be radar guided (!) because they can shoot accurately in the dark.

Testing with .52 encountered this Destroyer Escort Etorofu class on 4/22/43 at 119E-39' and 4N-52', basically NE of Luzon. I've seen this white "wake" before in TMO.

Note the white dissappears after I sink it

Maybe you guys can find another way to fix the white wake:Kaleun_Applaud:

propbeanie 01-10-17 03:52 PM

I don't recall ever seeing that before - anywhere in any mod, but as far as TMO, I was out of playing it for a good while... You don't happen to remember which version it was by chance? The Etorufo is the SCSubChaser, which is available beginning March 1, 1943, so that shouldn't be the issue. We'll look and see what we can find. Were there other vessels traveling with it?
