So far haven't really run into any probs Mush, Still try'n to get the feel of the boat, Leav'n Scapa Flow a J class DD came straight at me, it was the last thing he did, here is a pic of my Victory pass

Screenies always welcome with uber boat also wait till ya get your first convoy battle and all you can see is red broken ships thats one screenie worth taking and keeping so you can say that was me that was wooohooooo:yep:

Well I hope the new version works out for ya I just got back from
my Drive after release. she is a little just a very little slick in the corners but she still handles like a champ and I did a dive test with it. woo hoo. about eighteen seconds from pressing c to out of view. sweet. Ok people here are some screenies for the new 1.3.1 beta uber boat doing a set of evasive zig zags using [ and ] handled like a dream also did a full circle evasive took 70 seconds and the circle was about .7 km at its widest slowest the boat dropped to was 21 knots. enjoy the screenies:

Pick o the litter RDP and thanks it sure does stand out among
none enhanced screenies. MM [edit] there seems to be some confusion over the evasion pattern included in 1.3.1 just to clear it up a bit. the evasion pattern as it is will be of no use to players unless you have no other waypoints and the course you need is due north. otherwise its just there for me to experiment with to see what will work about it. MM [edit] there seems to be some need to point out that all of the original testers that recieved uber1.1 are now good to just plain have fun until im done 2.0 at which point one or two of you will be asked to help with that. but for now Ubergroop just eat em n smile. MM [edit] I know that 1.3.1 Handles ok but does anybody think I need to turn the hull drag back up a bit or is it ok to me it seems to scud a little in the hard corners. also I have personally found it nice to be able to go back to using the keyboard to steer without bleeding near so much speed. its a better method than mouse steering in battle. |
