Nice to see that when its working people are liking it.
Ill say this much I found more holes in it in the first
48hrs of release than I did in three or four weeks
of testing. inspite of some certain inconveniences
and im sure a few snickers, I think releasing the
beta1.3 has helped a lot as far as the project
itself goes.

Still its all about fun and I am glad people are liking it.

So far haven't really run into any probs Mush, Still try'n to get the feel of the boat, Leav'n Scapa Flow a J class DD came straight at me, it was the last thing he did, here is a pic of my Victory pass

I have a fix for Career issue ready and will put it out
tommorow once I have put it through a second test
round.

Screenies always welcome with uber boat also wait till ya get your first convoy battle and all you can see is red broken ships thats one screenie worth taking and keeping so you can say that was me that was wooohooooo:yep:

No I just found out that as you roll through the new year into
1940 it changes back to default gwx torp loadouts

My bad completely I missed it and it should have been
obvious but vast majority of testing is done in missions
and Uber isnt actually my campaign boat so I never
rolled it through years end or I would have fixed it
its pretty simple to correct.

I also like this baby with normal loadouts. Sunk over 100k in first patrol. Annihilated 2 small convoys in BF15, kicked 3 planes out of the sky...
Tonight i´ll try it in second patrol. Sadly i´ve to dismiss many good crewmen...

Yeah Ive come to realize that as most kaleuns nurture there
crews Im probably going to drop those portions of uber that
deal with crew in the next version.
(well I might keep em better than any mission crew)

[edit] but as stated in my previous post its my intention to probably remove all
parts of uber dealing with crew, if I do do that then this issue will be resolved
automatically as a consequence.

the question is should I or should I not include Uber crew into Uberboot
or as a seperate mod or not at all. after answering that if included
then its skullwork time on this problem.

thinking it through still commentary is welcome.

I like building up the crew step by step. A seperate mod should do it better...and this war badge thing is also solved this way :know:

i have to agree with Phantom on this half the fun is moulding your crew bernard included into a good crew of trim fighting(boozing)men.:up:

I takes about forty seconds to take out the crew portions
so I will do that and then post 1.3.1 with the crew bits gone
and the campaign long term loadout corrected.

torpedo loadout corrected new gun suite drag reduced to aid with keyboard maneuvering
additional deckgun ammo. more speed equip available all years, rain force effect
on gun reduced to match windforce effect.ubercrew removed.

built in radar not available after 12/42 so buy one at the dock.

Well I hope the new version works out for ya I just got back from
my Drive after release.

she is a little just a very little slick in the corners but she still
handles like a champ and I did a dive test with it. woo hoo.
about eighteen seconds from pressing c to out of view.
sweet.
I had fun with it today finally after a few fairly frantic days
tested out the new AA set up.
it was nice here is my choices for todays mission.

Ok people here are some screenies for the new 1.3.1 beta uber boat doing a set of evasive zig zags using [ and ] handled like a dream also did a full circle evasive took 70 seconds and the circle was about .7 km at its widest slowest the boat dropped to was 21 knots. enjoy the screenies:

A quick favour to ask of all if you are haveing any probs withyour deck gun or AA guns not engaging targets can you let us know please im having some intermitent gun probs and i want to see if its just me or others are:up: And sounds more welsh or maybe like frank carson:rotfl:

there seems to be some confusion over the evasion pattern included in 1.3.1

just to clear it up a bit.

the evasion pattern as it is will be of no use to players unless you have no other waypoints
and the course you need is due north.

otherwise its just there for me to experiment with to see what will work about it.

[edit] there seems to be some need to point out that all of the original testers
that recieved uber1.1 are now good to just plain have fun until im done
2.0 at which point one or two of you will be asked to help with that.
but for now Ubergroop just eat em n smile.

[edit] I know that 1.3.1 Handles ok but does anybody think I need to turn the
hull drag back up a bit or is it ok to me it seems to scud a little in the hard
corners.

also I have personally found it nice to be able to go back to using the keyboard
to steer without bleeding near so much speed. its a better method than
mouse steering in battle.
