Rise of Flight is on sale for the next 8 hours at 75% off. You can get the entire collection for ~60$ I wish I could afford it right now as I would get it myself, but some unexpected expenses just came up for me... Oh well I'm sure there will be a next time.

Red October1984 12-27-13 11:27 AM

Battlefield 2, GTA3 and GTASA are sitting in my cart.

STEAM! Y U NO HAVE GOOD FLASH SALE?!

Or even a good Daily Deal. I should've picked up on TESIV GOTY the other day...but I didn't have a Steam card by then. :nope:

NeonSamurai 12-27-13 01:28 PM

Ya there really hasn't been any really awesome sales so far other than RoF.

Ive been hoping that the STALKER series will come up at 75% off again, I almost had it a few months ago but of course steam screwed up the transaction and made me talk to tech support, which only answered after the sale was over and pretty much told me too bad.

I'm going to buy GTA anyway whether it's on a Flash or not. But, I like to make my money as effective as possible. If they get 75% off, I can get some other things on my wishlist for a truly happy holiday. :)

Stalker Clear Sky is on there....but it's 5$... Half off. Not a bad deal...but I'd rather spend my 5$ elsewhere when I haven't even finished SoC yet.

Well me I'll wait till it is back to the price it was that other time. I am certainly not paying 33% off 19.99 for the other two. I generally don't buy new, and will wait for 75% off or more.

Also with GTA its too bad, you could have picked up the entire series for like 18$ dollars during the summer sale (the package was like 90% off or something).

Btw...I picked up both Stalker SoC and CoP on Amazon for less than 8$ each+ shipping.

And damn....that's....annoying. However, IV would be no use to me on PC because i couldn't run it and I already have VC. :hmmm:

darius359au 12-28-13 08:33 PM

not much this year ,already have most of the games that were on special (missed Batman origins though both times it was on sale on steam :( ),picked up the wargame euro escalation/air land battle pack yesterday though for $11:up:

NeonSamurai 12-29-13 10:52 AM

Ya no real jaw dropping sales this year. RoF was a pretty good sale, but most of my purchases were minor.

I picked up EU: Rome and Iron Warriors: T-72 Tank Command for like....$3.70

That's it for me until the last day of the sale looks like.

Herr-Berbunch 12-29-13 02:30 PM

Must be good sale for the last 24 hrs as I've been unable to get on the store! :-?

NeonSamurai 12-30-13 01:12 PM

GTA is now up with most of the games being 75% off, just stay away from the packs as they are only 50% off.

KSP is also 40% off, good deal if you don't own it yet.

BOOM! I knew it would come. :woot: :woot: :woot:

Now I have 8 more dollars....what to buy?

Always kinda wanted to try Bioshock....Mass Effect and Borderlands....not sure though.

Stealhead 12-30-13 07:39 PM

I would go with Mass Effect of those three.

If you get ME1 you can carry that character all the way through to ME3.

I did that once took awhile though.ME3 got bad reviews from some but I thought it was not too shabby I purchased it after they had released the more clear ending extra information though.

Of all three ME1 is the best for me at least it has the most hooking story the other two you are just finding out what happens not bad games just not as impressive as the first.

Of course Orgin sometimes sells the entire trilogy for $19.99.

I downloaded T72 aswell as I fancied a tank sim as I havn't played one since panzer front years and years ago and at 74 pence could hardly turn it down, unfortunately I cannot get it to start:down:

I'm probably going to get ME on Xbox 360.

As far as Steam, Borderlands looks cool. :) I'm not sure. May save and wait for another sale...idk.

I'm having issues with that too. It'll start here and there but not consistently. :hmmm:
