I allways use JSGME .

Downloadet ROW_SEA_FOAM_09_24_07 and therefore i ask this question because i'm not sure .:hmm:

You can enable the foam while on patrol, there's no need to be @port..

Yes, you can let it overwrite, only previous foam and shaderfile for it will be changed.

I can see there has been a lot of hard work put into this mod, it does indeed enhance the watch lookout experience. One niggle is the sudden change in sea texture that occurs when looking from time to time. This could be a "feature" of my GTS 8800 card and occurs whilst looking directly ahead whilst waves are perpendicular to the direction of my boat, if I focus about 20 to 30 feet in front of the boat I notice the sea foam texture suddenly change....as if its suddenly been redrawn or retiled.

Anyone else have this effect ?

Also the clouds do tend to move quite fast, this is with a complete clean install on top of latest patched TM.

Cheers....

Adds much more realism to the sim.

Congratulations on a great achievement!

We are using the original fix made by Seeadler back after patch 1.2 or just before it not sure exactly when it came into play.

But seeing Jaketoox was able to fix the sea foam problem with the work he did I will ask him to see if anything else can be done on that end of it.

I personaly have only gotten it once in a while since that Cloud fix came out ages ago and leave it to one of the slight rendering problems that come up in the game from time to time like the ocean jelly effect and so forth especialy after comming out of time compression.

But again this is an Alpha release and using you guys to see what we need to do and fix.

Okay the re worked camera is posted for download

It fix's the problems that you guys had reported to us and makes it a little better to move around and remembers your last possition for the fallow cam.

You can disable the camera mod part you have now and use this one instead. I am trying to set up the replacment files to match what you have already to make it easier without any over writes.

Also new download for more repairs on the fire's, smoke's, and Oil Slik's effect's and Scene file. So you can get rid of that folder and just add this one instead for your games guys!

BTW thanks for all the usefull input so we can make this mod the best it can be for everyone to enjoy and get things working and looking better!

Will be posting the other new add on's today.

I need to ask you all a question about the Cloud's

Seeing some of you are saying something about the cloud morphing happening We need to know how much you want them slowed down to so there is an agreement on this and we don't have to do it over and over again.

I personaly think they look and work fine but I need to know what you guys want so we can fix it and get it out to all of you Please!!

I like the clouds at the current speed, but thats my taste.

Enjoy Guy's and I am working on the Classic VS of NSM Zone's 3.3 and might be able to get it out tomarrow or the next day in between all the other stuff I am doing we will see.

for the couds, maybe just a little bit slower, not much though, just a litle bit. thats what i think.

WernerSobe 09-25-07 05:30 PM

not sure if that has already said.

There seem to be a bug. Sometimes, after using high time compression. Seafoam suddenly disappears and the sea texture seems to be racing backwards. No matter where youre facing the texture on waves is floating away from the camera. So when youre on coning tower you have an illusion like your boat is going backwards.

It is caused by the Games rendering engine trying to catch up after the time compression as far as we can tell at the moment. I have found that if you stop the time compression with going to an interior cam first it happens a lot less but it does straighten out after a bit on it's own.

Non the less we are constantly looking for a fix to the problem as it has existed since I did my LBO mod. Just seems to be more controled now and less often.

We know it is due to the engine catch up because the eye's of the crew start to blink at the same time as well when this happens.

Hawk_345 09-25-07 06:00 PM

im waiting for the whole new download, its alot easyer than these scatered "fixes".
