It's the comment thread, we're just trying to advance the conspiracy.

I mean comment informatively. :dead:

Instinctive reaction Steve, as a Brony, you spend a lot of time defending yourself. :03:

Was it a movie ??

On an unrelated topic, began my VHF/GMDSS course today. Bloody hell, those VHF stations are complicated :o
I mean the stations are simple but the codes and procedures :o

I didnt mention them, just saying there was worse thing to come out the 80s.

Like trickle down economics, and makeup on male rockers.

Nowadays the only men who wear make up is Steven Tyler, who looks like a puerto rican grandmother, and Adam Lambert, who gets to sing for Queen.

Adventures of Aladin and his flying ladder.
I had this close call at work today. The ladder I was working on was missing the rubber base that prevents it from sliding, and it slid with me still on it :-?
5m travel to the floor. How not exciting. How I got out of this one without even a bruise is beyond me :-?

The funny thing is the design manager showed up an hour later and told me not to fall from the model :DL

Blasphemy, gentlemen! I found this thread from the third page! Third page! We can't have that now can we?

Um, actually I had a comment too, that's why I started looking. I have yet to solve the mystery of dogs who can't go past other dogs (for some reason there is always a great song playing in my MP3-player whenever it happens), but I have finally solved the problem of those bloody dog lovers who think it's their human right to come babbling and patting my mutt without asking permission. Behold the power of psychology whenever I in those situations utter the words "sic, boy" and the cute, pleasant retriever in their eyes changes into a bloodthirsty monster, whose favorite snack is human fingers.

It's all just act, of course. I taught the lad to jump towards the given target and pinch it with his teeth. He's a retriever, pinching stuff with teeth without causing any damage is pretty much what he was born to do. So far he hasn't even done all that: just the jumping part is enough to make the blasted mongrel huggers take a good few steps back double time and let us continue on our merry way.

Lesson of the day: the most effective to deal with the crazy people is to make them think you are even crazier than they.

Sailor Steve 03-13-12 11:34 PM

Had a great couple of days! Sunday was in the 60s F, so out came my bike and I immediately discovered a bike trail near my place that I was not aware of. Two hours later I was home, exhausted, guzzling iced tea and happy as a clam. Yesterday I did it all over again, but not for as long, since my legs were pretty beat up from the day before. Today it was warm but windy, so a long walk coupled with a short jog was in order.

I didn't get much work done, but I'm feeling pretty good. :sunny:

My car is due her first MOT today so I got up early and took the daughter to Uni and the boss to work.

Still awaiting the garage to call with a pass or fail verdict (quitly confident) but on a much brighter note two diecast additions arrived whilst the boss was out hehe.
