I may have miss heard this from the radio but it sounded to me Toff Boy said if he is re-elected you will have access to your GP 12 hours a day every day. OK, so what's the point I hear you say? Well the point was he said that in the terms of the 2020 general election, sounds like old Toff Boy is so certain of winning the 2015 general election he can start making promises for the 2020.

Jimbuna 09-30-14 09:32 AM

Yeah, when you look at some of the promises predicated on an election victory then factor in some of the timescales they do begin to look a bit hollow and pathetic.

At the Conservative party conference today, David Cameron pledged to increase equality in Britain if re-elected.

He said, "Within five years we intend to have everyone in the country on zero-hours contracts and minimum wage."

BossMark 10-05-14 07:00 AM

After being seen telling a crap joke on video David Cameron has said that he "won't give up the day job."
We'll see how the votes go next election, Dave.

Jimbuna 10-06-14 03:31 PM

So there we have it:

Quote:

Business Secretary Vince Cable has accused the Conservatives of "lying" by claiming they can eliminate the budget deficit without the need for tax rises.

He told the Lib Dem conference the Conservative Party was "obsessed" with spending cuts, with many public services already "cut to the bone".

And he said the Lib Dems could "not go along with" Conservative proposals for £25bn of further spending cuts.
