Not a bad start to the new series. I much prefer Capaldi to Matt Smith.

I'm still undecided re which Dr I prefer but tis early doors yet.

Video busted, not surprised had it over 15 years now. Looks Like I will be running a week behind you folks, watching it on BBC3 Friday nights as I'm out Saturday's. Dial up is no good for watching anything on line. Your get my verdict this weekend on the opening episode.

"She lives"....My video has come back to life! Now will it stay alive for 12 weeks? :hmmm: We shall see, but this dose mean I can record Saturday night's one and I hear its a Dalek one. I will post my reviews of episodes 1&2 some time Sunday. Few more hours and I will have caught up with the rest of you lot, thanks to BBC3.

Second episode was on a par with the first but as usual, not enough footage with Dalek involvement for my liking.

Flash back to DT's Doctor no question, average episode and Strax's was funny.

Episode 2
Fantastic journey and well yea not bad.

BBC showing respect in light of recent events.

Just watched it on iPlayer and the beheaded scene was in there. I take it the episode on TV was censored?



Any way a average episode not very good, next weeks dose seem to look a little better I hope.

If Douglas Adams would write a script for an episode, it would be the sanest one :doh: :)

Douglas Adams wrote several Doctor Who episodes. If he could write one today, I think that would be a bigger story than the story itself. :O:

I was expecting something different but I enjoy the episode.
About the edited scene, I thought that was during the fight between Robin Hood and the sheriff, accordingly the BBC news link.
