BINGO! little Albert II https://www.spacelaunchschedule.com/...II-640x360.jpg was the first primate to boldly go where no man had gone before in a V2 sounding rocket. A Rhesus Macaque, the chute failed on re-entry causing his demise. As for abuse of primates incl. humans, Rule one of space travel is: "U R expendible...but thanks in advance!"
