But yes, if you want a real FUUUUUU moment from HOI, it would have to be my HOI2 game with the Historical Improvement Project mod, I invaded the Soviet Union from Hungary, which meant that as I went forward, the sectors that were captured became Hungarian. I figured that the Bitter Peace event would fix that, and besides I wasn't actually expecting to beat the Soviet Union.

I beat the Soviet Union, the one time I've ever managed to do that. The Bitter Peace event fires...and I get two large slices of Soviet wasteland with a Hungarian dagger in between...which then reverts back to Soviet control. A triangular shape from the Baltic/Poland/Hungarian border to the Urals, covering Moscow, Stalingrad, Leningrad, lost the whole bloody lot. :/\\!!

Diplomacy is still centered around the 3 sides, so no. Thouh, you can influence USA to become facist, but I thikn that was possible in vanilla?

As for BICE in general.. it crashes, a lot.

The 7.50 update promises to fix them, but no idea if/when it is coming.

So, Hearts of Iron III, mein Gott is this a detailed piece of work, but I think I'm getting the hang of the organisation of things at least. Everything will probably break down as soon as I encounter some Polish infantry, but I'm getting the idea of how to arrange the armies from Theatre down to Corps. At least I think I have.

It was during one of my browses through wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Army_group) that I realise that rather than an army group, what I was looking at was a theatre, so I renamed the two Ost Theatre and West Theatre respectively, then set about creating Heeresgruppe Nord, with two Corps...I found Guderian slumming it up in Kolberg with an infantry division so threw him at the Panzer Corps next door, and then I...
