Il2 going console :o

I'm not impressed by it,

first off all the controls are just crap, its the same IL2 engine with only some highlights and smoketrails added....and I bet it has become arcadish too..

Thing is, could this be the reason S.O.W. is so delayed? or has Oleg sold out to the console industry for his 12 pieces of gold :hmm:

The console version of IL2 certainly uses upgraded version of the engine, looks fricking awesome!! :rock:

As for SOW being delayed because of it, I dont think so. The game's been developed by an third party company, not the 1C.

Heres a little clip of the campaign me HunterICX and Dowly been flying. This was a real fight for survival,A good six or so mins.of running for my life. Three fighters, a barrage of flak and needless to SAY Dowly dogging my every move. ''why cant he be on the same team as everyone else'' :lol: If it wasn't for the flak, the outcome might have been different :rotfl:

is it me, or does Veteran AI put up a good challenge when dogfighting, the 109 can stick on my six for quite a while, and when trying to shoot the AI he is pretty much doing everything it can to avoid beeing hit. rolling over-dive-swing around, turn every couple of seconds.

but indeed we had some great sorties, too bad the weather sucked.

good to see ur graphics improved, but seems that the clouds really hurt your performance in rainy weather.
