Every bomber flight sim I've ever played just made me cringe at the altitude those Halifaxes were flying.:D

the flak bursts come from AA shells
i belive thats from stock:up:

Actually those shells are exploding several hundred feet under the bomber. As far as I know, this fellow and his crew are now safe in Blighty. :cool:

There are shell bursts in the stock game but they are extremely difficult to see. I modded them with a new explosion graphic and used Mini-Tweaker to adjust factors like the explosion size and lifetime. I want to keep working on this and release it later along with improved tracer effects.

The Halifax is another unreleased mod. A couple days ago I created a"Bomber Command" skin for the Liberator - eventually I decided to make actual 3d changes to a cloned Lib, thus creating a late model Halifax. So these aren't from the latest GWX - instead, they are just a couple of unreleased mods on my very old NYGM installation.

Do you plan on releasing ANYTHING before we are all at the bottom of the ocean

Here's a little screenie for you.. I have only sharpened it a bit in PS, the "brownish" light is the actual light outside Nova Scotia in summer -43, according to GWX... Asthonishing! :D:D:rock:

Nice ones Swat. Are those harbor buildings on the second pic (to the left of the sub pen) from GWX? Or do you have some other mod installed? Thanks.

There are no other mods in my installation,just GWX+1.3 patch.Love this game....:rock:
