So I'm in a dogfight...4 of these...vs 12 He-162's and 4 Do-335's

I even have AIM-9D's...

Who shoots me? The ground AAA. Who finished me off? An He-162 who fired on me right as I bailed out. If my controls weren't shot to hell, I would've turned around and popped him with an AIM-9D...which still worked as I went plummeting.

It was one of those where the plane explodes right as you bail out so your pilot is dead before he can fall to his death.

Those WOT moments when one of your teammates shoots you, hence kills you by mistakes* and pretends he did not do it, does not apologize and tells you to go to hell and stay there to cool off!

One of the signature of those free games to play being World Of Tanks, War Thunder and World of Planes, is the rampant level of insults flying around freely.

Many times in WOT, did I see someone interpreting an insult as a casus belli and an entire team decimating itself, shooting at each others to the great amusement of the enemy team cheering and stimulating the Canons of August dynamic.

America's Army used to be like that on Saturday nights many, many years ago!

My UK is going well, nearly into the 1890s and still at 1 for prestige, and mostly 1 for military...3 for industry though and not much hope of recovering that. The German Empire has yet to form, and I've eaten most of Africa, and am setting about nomming the Transvaal and Oranje parts to complete it. My justification formation (station) in Oranje is discovered, which nets me some bad-boy, taking it to about 26, so I flog off Southern Rhodesia to take it back down to 21. Oranje is nommed in about two weeks flat, and then the usual Greek/Ottoman crisis flares up.
Normally I leave these crises alone, but with the North German Confederation fighting Austria, I decide to have a gamble and back the Ottomans, the Russians back the Greeks, and the French sit on the fence.
I offer the French a tasty tidbit of 'cutting the Russians down to size' to get them on my side, and they accept. The Russians think about things for half a week and then agree to the 'Cut Russian down to size' solution.
Pleased that the Russian development will be stalled slightly by this outcome, I receive a message that I have also gained a conquest CB on Transvaal, even better! And I didn't even have to forge one which means I shouldn't get any badboy. Then the game stuttered slightly and the screen filled up with boxes.
Half the world had just declared war on me, and the other half had just declared war on them. I looked up and saw my badboy at 31...enough to trigger the inevitable 'Wars of containment'...

I can only presume that the 'Cut Russia down to size' had given me badboy somehow, because unless I had a forge CB on going on Transvaal that I wasn't aware of, nothing else should have sent my badboy up like that.

I'm takin part in a bug catching contest. The record holder has a bug worth 49 points, so I spend a could while shaking trees and getting stung to try and get a bee. Finally get one that's small and dull, but still worth 65 points. I'm thinking I just strolled into 1st. Nope. Someone turned in a 76 point butterfly.


GTA:V

Trying to get too a small airfield to do gun smuggling missions. First time I get side tracked by a hitch hiker, then on my way again I end up dying. The hospital I end up at is pretty close to the airfield. However the tallest mountain in the game is in between us. So I decide to go up it, and parachute down the side. I take the cable car up to the top, grab a dirt bike and attempt to jump off the side. When I bail from the dirt bike, I don't have enough time to deploy the parachute before slamming into the side of the mountain and rolling to my death. Luckily I wake up at a closer hospital. I steal a car and drive towards the airfield. I finally get to tr airfield and attempt to power slide into the entrance. I slide too wide and go through a fence and right into a gas tank. Now I'm back at the hospital.

Another time I attempted to steal from an armored truck. I kill the two guards and plant c4 on the doors and take a couple steps back. My girlfriend chirps in "Aren't you too close?". Ignoring her I push the detonator button and get my face blown off.

So I've started playing Dead Space (Surprised it runs on my computer? ME TOO!)

These wonderful things come out of nowhere.

I've managed to not die still....I've beat some of these to a pulp since I run out of ammo...and I've been >< that far from death...but I still haven't died yet *knocks on wood*

Mass Effect 2

Took on Legion's loyalty mission before attaining Thane or Samara. Get back to the Normandy in time for Collector visit. I'm not prepared to go through the Relay, but if I don't my crew will die. I had to load a save from 2 hours prior.

Edit:I ended up having to restart from the beginning. 36 hours gone.

Oh, this thread is about stuff that happens on a regular basis. Picture this:

You are on a 14 hour flight let's say IAD-NRT, and just when you are on final, you get a scenery issue then CTD..

Even though this happened more than once to me, i still think that there is not enough room on this post to properly describe how do i feel about that so,

Playing as Brazil. By the end of 1939 I had conquered Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile and Bolivia.
I set my target to Peru, they have only one Victory Point: Lima, their capital.
Should be easy. I got 20 divisions (about 135k men), I can blitz them!

Right?

Yeah, right.

Through January-February of 1940 I make progress, then the 3 wide front narrows down to 2 wide because of impassable terrain.
I am a sector away from Lima, but they have massed all their troops to cover that 2 wide path.

February-July 1940, I try and try and try, but nothing works. I simply cannot break their lines.

July-September 1940, I stop attacking as my manpower is low. Instead I pull one of the Corps (2nd Mountain Corps) back and hope it lures the AI to attack the empty sector.
Of course, AI being AI, they do attack the sector.
I attack from the NE with 4th Mountain Corps and support the attack with the retreating 2nd Mountain Corps.

September-December 1940, I attack Lima with 3rd Mountain Corps. Meanwhile, 1st and 5th Mountain Corps try and succeed in breaking the enemy lines NE of Lima.

December 1940-April 1941, 4th and 2nd Mountain Corps push back the enemy, causing them heavy casualties.
1st and 5th fight their way around Lima and encircle the capital.

End of April 1941, Lima is captured by the 4th and 2nd Mountain Corps.

Peru Annexed.
