Hi,
I don't know exactly if it's a bug but after torpedo hits the ship won't start burning\smoking. I noticed that on my 4th patrol where I sunk 7 ships and 1 Southampton cruiser. On my 2nd and 3rd patrol there was always smoke after a hit. I tested it after the 4th patrol in the tutorial. No smoke with torpedos but with the deck canon there is smoke, a lot. I play the GWX 3 Gold mod with no other mods except the effects from SH4. |

Yes.
Where you hit determines what effect you see. If there is no zone that uses smoke or fire? The ship must take enuff damage to set off other zones. It's a high wire act to build a damage model for every ship in GWX Some Ships are imported from others not in the GW Team. Great ships that's why they are there. They just may not have a full GW Damage model. I've only seen 3 people really work that damage model. :03: |
