Walther sim crash in EN 4.6 etc solved !

When you install the mod DO NOT copy the U18 folder over the original (in rest you can copy, overwritten etc ) and it will work ! I checked and I finished the campaign with Walther sim (and the environmental mod)

AWESOME MOD!! BUT...have the ridiculously fast clouds which make the sub look likes its turning all the time been addressed? The clouds morph way too fast as if high time compression is on...Also, is there a way to make the water look less glassy/silvery-at times it kind of looks like a big ocean full of T-1000 liquid metal.

one other thing--searched and couldn't find a word on it except someone mentioning they will go back to port to enable...ut-can I enable E4.9 and night light.rar without going back to port?

As for clouds 'problem', I've solved it by installing ROW_Slower_Clouds over Environmental mod

It's nearly perfect now!
Only the night glowing ship reflection has to be solved...

Hi ,

I''m just a little confused with this MOD. Is there a one stop file for installation or do I download 4.4 then 4.5, etc etc? Thanks

I have tested with my new system (that can finally handle SHIV) and here are some impressions by me.

During the day, the sea looks very impressive, and generally the colors give a more realistic impression than anything I have seen, but:

Somehow everything is much too dark, or there is such a strong dark / light contrast that my eyes cannot adapt to it (this could well be the problem as a bright day is really bright with this mod).

In the evenings / at night I saw a lot of problems, ship wakes are glowing - I did not like the graphics at night, and the sunsets were over the top imo.

Overall my impression is that this mod is rather extreme - it does some things extremely well ( like the sea reflections and colors during the day ), but other things look unreal (evening / night).

This is my personal review - not based on a very long testing time - I just rode for a few days under tc and checked various sea states. This mod gives the most realistic graphics during certain times of day but it has to be more balanced before it is perfect.

Great job!

Dear W_Clear,
Does this brighter night mod solve the glowing ship reflection at night effect?
Can it be repaired at all, will you do it?
