How do you install the skins in SH4? Do you just JSGME it or is there something I am doing wrong? I am trying to do it through JSGME.

I've installed these skins with JSGME:yep: After downloading the skins, unzip the files to the MODS folder created by JSGME. They should show up in the mod enabler, ready to activate. Don't know what you could be doing wrong.:hmm:

I'm running some of these with RFB 1.52 and i think to have an issue with Black ones.

Looks like a water reflection underwater or something similar. Same at the sunset... I also tried it without post processing. I'm running an Nvidia card.

Any ideas ?

FooBor's skins are already in RFB.

Regio Sommergibile 03-24-09 06:07 AM

Yes, but i wanted to use the black ones...or you are talking about a conflict ?

Fish40 03-24-09 06:20 AM

I believe the black skins are in RFB, since I'm useing the mod and have the black skins. What you say looks like reflections, look too be just that. RFB uses the EE mod (soon to be the RE mod). This mod adds/ enhances reflections on the ship hulls and decks. I think that's what you're seeing:yep:

Regio Sommergibile 03-24-09 07:14 AM

And don't you think it's too much? Also the conning tower has no refs at all...

As I said, ;) FooBor's skins are already integrated into RFB. When one tries to add their own skins manually, they will encounter the problem noted above, where the fairwater is one color and the hull another. I did this so that the paint schemes in RFB follow the historically correct timeline.

So no possibility to have a BLACK Tambor class without issues...

thanks for the explanation :)

You can have a black Tambor in RFB, yes. Just select a career start date before 1944, and all will be good.

The website (fooskin.com) seems to not exist...

I could have sworn the website used to be at oldsmobile1958.com somewhere...but that was awhile back...
