A very "busy" photo. A Destroyer is in the foreground, the Graf Zeppelin can be seen behind the buildings and cranes in the background.

http://isaf.us/photos/Graf_Zeppelin2.jpgThis puts the size of the ship into perspective a little bit.

It was winter - no sun - when I saw mine so I couldn't really 'see' it.

edit - see you post in the iceberg thread now. answer there if you like as not to fill up the pic thread with letters :/

Iceberg sightings are so rare, it's almost an easter egg. I've only seen 1 in like 20 careers. When I saw it, i hung around for a day taking shots, diving under it, around it , trying to park in its inlet, etc.

I've shown SH III to my eight years old nephew. He was impressed,so he's just getting familiar with the game, going through the Naval Academy, learning the controls, how to maneuver, how to dive, surface the boat etc.I've also started career with him,so I sail,he watch and ask questions, what is it about, why I'm doing all those things and so on.....and we enjoy it both! We're playing with 1.4b patch, without GWX and because in my career I'm in 1940 with VIIC and I've never seen IX class U-Boot in action,it was also my interest so we've started in 1942 from Lorient. So here are the screens from the future kaleun,so far U-boot is under my command.

Tell him before he gets his own command he'd better get out there, scrape off the rust and repaint that boat! If he lets the simplest tasks slide like that, just thing how bad he'll be on the high seas.:x
