Censoring a thread is a big stick and I haven't seen a hot-headed discussion or a violation of the board rules here. So please point out what was wrong.

Donated blood in the morning and then drove to Ljubljana for coffee with a certain friend of mine and almost fainted because of the way she was dressed and the fact I had half a litre of blood pumped out of me :dead: there was simply not enough. And a nervous basterd as I am I removed my bandage too soon and started bleeding in a cafe in Ljubljana :dead: Luckily my friend is not squemish and found it quite amusing

I learned the hard way too, though not that hard :o.

I mean they told me "remove the bandage only after a good while" (can't remember how long exactly), but it made it practically impossible to do anything requiring two hands, so I thought what the heck, what's the worst that could happen?

Afterwards a huge bruise told me the answer to that question.

There was a link that when clicked on took you to a site that was questionnable...it's gone now.

Allright, that was it, thanks, didn't know if I was the bad guy. Now I'm pretty sure it wasn't my link, as I usually click the links I provide to see if they work - however there could always be something stored in my clipboard when surfing other (nsfw:03:) sites.

No prob....I'd have notified the poster if it looked intentional.

In fact, I've looked back on the thread and can't remember which one it was now :hmmm:

Now for something different:
For the sick and bloodless Senor Betonov: a little classic from the 80s, to heal and get thoughts in the right direction:

The Idiots - Mädchen mit den roten Haaren - sorry no pix included in this video :DL

I think you told you understand some German, so I hope you like the text, if you don't understand his voice, I can write it down.

Jimbuna 12-06-11 09:35 AM

I'd appreciate you writing it down...nothing worse than listening to a song, the words of which you can't understand

Betonov 12-06-11 09:42 AM

Thanks Penguin, here's one back :DL

Bruce Springsteen- Red headed woman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB4aE...eature=related

My friend today almost became redheaded, I tell you that :dead:

Penguin 12-06-11 09:48 AM

my neighbors in the other offices must think that I'd gone mad, listening to the same song 5 times - or maybe they assume I'm a redhead fetishist :03:
I'm currently archiving stuff, so I hope I didn't paste the lyrics into our database...
Anyway, here are the lyrics, handwritten:

(repeat)

und Plötzlich nach einem Jahr
waren die Idiots ein Star
und plötzlich nach einem Jahr
waren 10 rote Mädels da :DL

:salute:
Pretty sure he wrote this for his beautiful wife, Patti, my dreamgirl when I was 13 years old!
Unfortunately the German music-industry-nazis don't allow the song on YT here :( - but I gladly know the song

Here's my favorite version of red-headed woman, think the original is by Sonny Burgess
Jimmy Dickinson & The Cramps - Red Headed Woman

Well done for donating, more people should do it - but you're gonna put them off with those tales!!! :stare:

The trick is, when the bit gets removed from your arm to press very firmly for a couple of minutes, then get a plaster (2 x 2 cm) and cover. Also ensure you eat/drink something sweet both before and after.

Unless Finland and Slovenia do something drastically different to the UK to get blood out of your body? :o
