Did you notice the dates - I changes the start to 30/8/39 so skip the tutorial.

But - your game is now loading where it was not before?

Yes it is

Hi SkyBaron :salute:

Unfortunately this fix doesn't work or rather it doesn't work as expected.. your fix just removes TypeII out of the campaign because I still don't see them at the Kiel harbour..

That was possibly one the 5 Polish submarines taking part into Worek Plan: :yep:
....
By that date, there should be only one Polish destoyer, ORP Wicher (the other Polish destroyers having set off for Britain on 29 Aug in what is known as Peking Plan), and it shouldn't be at dock near Danzig (from where she had sailed, bound for Hel, together with 1 large minelayer, 6 small minelayers, and 2 patrol vessels in what became known as the Battle of Danzig) but operating off Hel, where she was supposed to cover a (cancelled) minelaying operation. On 2 September Wicher returned to Hel and discovered that the operation had been called off. On 3 Sept, while still at dock, she faced successfully an attack by two German Z1934-Class destroyers and 2 air raids, but later that day she was sunk by a third air raid.

Hi Gabriele :salute:

Thank you, always interesting to learn something new about the events occurred long before my birth

Yes, and it is especially enjoyable learning them throuh a video game :D

By the way, I am extremely pleased to see how much care Trevally has put into representing historical events as closely as possible

I'm going to Danzig Gulf now (again :)) to see how many British destroyers will be there at this time :D..

PS: It's pity, I will not see the Tipe II in the campaign yet :wah:

So the type II is a weird one then, I didn't remove anything, just added waypoints to the typeIIs. I guess I'll let somebody more experienced in mission building find the solution! :)

Hi Scümbagfuhrer:salute:

As far as we know there are only a few options for why this may happen.

If you have patched your exe with TDWs patcher - do not apply the orbiter fix
The ships sunk are not within or the correct type for the campaign - yours look ok:up:
You must also launch your game with the uplay launcher (no cracked exe):03:

Yeah, I sunk merchant, using steam version, but not applying the tdw patcher, I think the patcher is not supported for steam version of the game
Edit : Which patcher actually? :hmmm:
Edit : Using the latest version and came to this http://puu.sh/2I71E.png

Generic Patcher by TheDarkWraith requires only a regular sh5.exe, not the steam..

For non-Steam versions of the SH5.exe:

:arrgh!:

Using this test patch with all my mods including the wooden lifeboats mod I left port and completed the Danzig mission sinking the first Polish destroyer I came across and now headed back.

Not a single CTD and nothing out of the ordinary that I've notice. Even got caught off guard after sinking the destroyer when three of his buddies came swooping in to the scene running at 36 knots with cannons blazing. It was night and very dark so with some patience and a little stealth we managed to sneak away and get the heck outa there. :)

Nice work on the test patch. :salute:

Thanks guys:salute:

The fix patch had some work where I redid parts of the Danzig attack to keep it historical (:O:)

the actual fixes were:-
Removed the docked typeII uboats and changed them to waypoint led.
I am not sure if I will keep the typeII in the actual patch:hmmm: - there must be an error in a common mod where some could load them and some could not. I am sure this is not an OHII issue but rather another mod.
So - seeing as we all need to have more than one mod for this game - I may take that out until we can find the real issue.

Also - I added Rongels lifeboat mod to fix the issue of the ctd with the polish ships. I think this was caused by the roster entry that Mike noticed. Somehow it has gotten into the OHII mod and when it tried to spawn lifeboat - some did not have the sea folder entry to produce then = ctd.
As I cant remove a file for the main mod (until next version) the patch had to fill the gap. So adding the rest of the files was the only fix.

@Rongel - I hope this is ok:oops:

I will leave the test patch for a few days to be sure all is ok - I am still a wee bit worried about the luftwaffe air strikes I have added to the bay.
There are four attacks for three days - SH5 air attacks on harbours has not worked well in the past. I would like to hear if any issues are happening as a result. If they are I can remove them before the patch propper is set.

Sink em all:arrgh!:
