Nick Clegg: "And when I have made mistakes, I've put my hands up in the air and admitted to them"

Maybe that's why he's spent the last 5 years looking like a representative of the French army

*Devils Advocate*

I heard Clegg apologising for tuition fees but nothing came from Miliband for wrecking the economy last time Labour were in power :hmmm:

Amidst arguments on both sides, Nicola Sturgeon has revealed what she actually said to the French ambassador.

"Mr Ambassador, with these deep fried Ferrero Rocher you are really spoiling us."

This Tory government is much like a rainbow.

It looks good from a distance, but on close inspection it has no real substance, you can see right through it and it's only there because of the sun.

Working-class voters are criticising David Cameron for eating a hot dog with a knife and fork.

Wealthy voters are criticising him for using a hamburger fork.

BossMark 04-14-15 10:41 AM

David Cameron has today promised 'a good life for all'.

He actually means we are going to end up growing veg and keeping pigs to make ends meet while staring at Felicity Kendall's arse.

BossMark 04-14-15 10:42 AM

The Conservatives are the party of working people, said David Cameron, something he's been saying since he left Eton in 1984.

BossMark 04-15-15 02:20 AM

Shock news. People don't like paying tax.

The Tories use that to fuel one of their greatest con tricks. The idea that you can pay less tax but still somehow you won't miss any of the stuff that it goes to pay for. That's then followed by the second con trick that says that the Tories actually cut your taxes...totally bogus but idiots buy it

Fubar2Niner 04-15-15 11:20 AM

WHAT !!!!!

You mean our illustrious leader is actually talking bollocks !! ? Never surely it is a mere slip of the tongue/memory lapse/words put in his mouth by the left wing/working classes ?????????? Ehh, ok it's tory bollocks, nothing changes then.

BossMark 04-16-15 02:06 AM

LONDON (Reuters) - British Chancellor George Osborne said on Thursday an International Monetary Fund forecast that Britain is likely to miss his budget deficit forecasts means people should vote for his Conservative Party next month. Osborne was reacting as some newspapers said the IMF report on Wednesday undermined forecasts included in his recent budget statement that Britain would have a surplus of 0.3 percent of gross domestic product in the 2019/20 fiscal year.

UK unemployment has fallen to its lowest rate since July 2008, official figures have shown.
The number of jobless people dropped by 76,000 to 1.84 million in the three months to February, the ONS on Friday.
That means the unemployment rate has fallen to 5.6%, in line with forecasts.
Interesting note from the radio today, the Treasury income has fallen. :hmmm:
