Well, the Lib Dems lost their Scottish MEP to UKIP, so Farage's bunch now have a toehold north of the border:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotlan...itics-27572290 In true UKIP fashion, the new MEP has already compared Alex Salmond with Robert Mugabe: http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/h...and.1401004988 "Ukip's main candidate, David Coburn, now an MEP, arrived at the central declaration point in Edinburgh last night and, in typically combative fashion, declared Alex Salmond to be the Robert Mugabe of Scottish politics, based on recently published land reform laws." Proposed land reform in Scotland: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotlan...itics-27536800 Mike. |
In other news Farage has updated his pre election rant to the little englanders.
Would you feel comfortable if 10 Glaswegian men moved into the house next door? Stop immigration now!!!!! :rotfl2: |

Mind you, I don't know which is the most pungent - the fecal smell emanating from Lib Dem HQ or the Elysee Palace in Paris (poor Hollande - Merkel will be soo disappointed...)?:hmm2: Mike.:03: |

I am sure Farage could have said the same about Scousers too, but the Tories had already covered that angle.:yep: |

TBH, the majority of Glaswegians are perfectly OK, but like any group it's idiots that give them a bad name. Unfortunately it's usually the ultra-hardline supporters in blue or green/white football tops. Soooo, how long until someone put a sharp pointy object into Clegg? Will "Red" Ed get a personality transplant? Will Cameron stop his party being eaten alive by UKIP. Will Alex Salmond manage to stay on his diet?:hmm2: Mike. |

They already swallowed up the National Front, this election they seem to have taken in all the BNP voters, will they eat up the Tories next? |
24 UKIP members are now MEPs at the Parliament in Brussels.
Going over there and taking all the jobs... |
The burning question being....can they perform as well in a general election?
