After watching the movie Battleship about two weeks ago I have a renewed interest for the Burke.

I am updating the 3D model a little, updating the weapons and trying to fix the part where you`re watch does`t spot anything. So far, it ain`t going well.

The production team for the movie made someting called the destroyer experience. On their website you can get a look around a virtual Arleigh Burke class Flight IIA bridge, I guess it`s modelled after the real bridge, opening the possibility of making a bridge for the ship.

The spotting thingy has been fixed. Turns out, it was a missing entry in the upc file. Anyhow, here`s a couple of pictures to show my progress.

I went to Google 3D Workshop and did the most degrading thing I`ve ever done. Looking for furniture. Tables, chairs and computer screens. Some sensor and weapon stations is actually from the Daedalus class battlecruiser from Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis.

Bridge

Great job, Karl94. I haven't seen a bridge like this since Virual Sailor. There was an Austrailian guy named Simpson I believe, who made a bunch of modern naval vessels for that game, who had detailed bridges on his ships as well, it really gave one a sense of really being on the ship. Unfortunately athough the game itself was good, it really wasn't a naval sim, in that it really didn't have a combat system. I think its really nice that you are adding a real bridge this way, though I know it must be alot of work.
Thanks
