When I enabled this mod, JSGME warned me of several conflicts with RFB, and even LBO and OakGrooves Highres Inst. I just let it ride, and said yes to the overwrite. Haven't seen anything bad so far.

Highend reflections should not screw with your FPS. Enable it all!! If there is an issue just disable it again:up:

Yes it will work with most other mods, since it's mostly an eyecandy -mod and doesn't edit the config files and data.

For me works your last remark. Just delete those two files from mod directory and it works fine.

i hope you didn't misunderstand. you do need the particles.dat and the materials.dat. without them you won't see any of the particle improvements made...

i meant that if you've made a backup or if you have another version of those files except the one that came with the mod, even if it is renamed to something else, you should remove those *other* versions/backups.

i've edited the original post to make this clearer :oops:

Hiya's,
Once again damn this is superb :)

Anyways ............

A slight glitch i guess as now with AA x4 etc i have Glare :) so that's fixed

Ohh card is leadtek 8800gts 640meg in a new very decent spec lian-li

When i pan with F11 and go to seabed i can go under this and look up, It seems even in deep water the seabed is way too close to surface

Also i can pan through ships etc and my sub (this is fun lol)


So what i have is panning that takes me under seabed and depth seems wrong (hope this makes sense)

Ohh i have tried a few mods like more ammo/shiney hud all with no conflicts even tried removing these and still can pan under seabed

PS: I can dive sub below seabed too

Going to do a fresh install and try again

We took the terain collision parts of the camera's out so you can get closer to objects than was ever possable before that is why the camera goes through things.

The sub going through the ocean bottom is nothing we did or have anything to do with so have no idea why it is happening to you! I can not do it with my sub hit's the bottom every time.

okay guys new super highrs sea foam is up
 
it is at the bottom of the main posting ready to download for your games.

Should have a new camera file up for you guys soon as well with some minor repairs and adjustments from things people have noticed.

Then a new zone's file from Wernersab's hard work on NSM that he gave me permission to use. All Hollywood effect's will be added to it and all of the new effect's we created for this mod.

Wernersab's Light vs of NSM installed in your game. I am useing for the moment the light vs of his Zone's file that controls the time it takes for compartments to flood and so forth. I added all the new special effect's to the ship's compartments along with new seperate cargo set up's for engine rooms and fuel bunkers. Again thanks Werner for allowing us to use your work.

This is a small file just like the scene.dat file and sit's in the same place in the game but there will also be a new cargo file that is for the ship's and it will be in the Sea folder all by it's self.

Again this is a JSGME ready aplication for those of you who do not know how to change out files inside of mod's. It will just over write what you have activated now.

I do plan on applying this work to the Classic vs of Wernersab's work as well just needed to get everything done a bit at a time.

I also got a PM from l3th4l asking me to wait for a while on the upload of the camera stuff as he is working on something for it now so as soon as I get it you guys will have it. Now I need to test some new stuff so will not be around for a bit.

In the mean time enjoy the new sea foam work I am LOL!!! :rock:

Hiya's,
Sorry to bother again ...

Fresh install of sh4/reboot/patch/reboot/copied row to mod folder, Activated all but Camera Mod Arcade and Hollywood Effects (these i have left in GME but on left un-activated)

Now i have also on the left under available mods (in GME) "images" !!!!!

Do i have to enable this as i have followed the howto link in row file but there's no mention of "images"

Did follow the sequence although i have the later row version but same just updated files i guess ?
