That is true, the announcement post is still listed in the General Topics forum. Any GWX donation of $30 or more during the Dec 9 - 15th release window will score the newly released, action packed 2008 Submarine Almanac. The book that caused Tom Clancy to remark, "It's not fair." So, get in on the initial release of GWX 2.0, get a great submarine book to read, and support Subsim, all in one motion.

Also, an anonymous skipper has pledged $50 to Subsim, he will sponsor 5 guys who want to get in on the initial download donation of GWX 2.0. So, if you are a little short of $$ but would love to be sinking Tommie and the Yanks on Day 1, post your name here. First five will be added to the List.

im gunna strain myself from reinstallin SH3 and d/ling GWX 1.03 and just wait too 2.00,jeez I can't waittttt:D:D:D:D

[edit] oops, I just realized the Almanac purchase is directly from subsim anyway (thought it was via amazon).

I guess if I donated earlier this year but still want the Almanac I can just buy it and not worry about the GWX download?
