Sorry mate.. can't help you here.
All the pictures are pre patch 1.4.

So the problem must be there a lot longer.

Foo, any chance of you releasing updated skins for all the boats in the late-war scheme? Currently the radar masts and the horizontal section of the bridge that holds the TBT, compass, and engine telegraph (plus those individual objects) still retain the older black scheme. From the USS Batfish:

Plus, there's also those deck guns, flack guns, and radar sets that could use a touch up as well... :hmm: ;)

Hi Luke,

I will have to see in to that someday.
But for now I have a lot of other stuff to do.

One of the big problems is that a part of the texture is used on several parts of the ship.
This also happens with the conning tower.
I know that the horizontal part that holds the TBT is a larger scale then on other section.
This means that is always a lower resolution then other parts.

I am working on new versions of the recognition manual.
Further I am also still trying to get the clipping distance of the camera better.
I want to get rid of the disapearing smoke when you look upwards.

I thought this was fixed, hadn't noticed it in game. Need to look more closely I guess.

It's better, but still there.
Especially with smoke from the smokestack.

Just look at the boat from your conningtower.
Then look up. After a short time you will see that the smoke dissapears.

Not a problem, thanks for replying. All of your work is top-notch stuff.

Foo,

I really like the skins you made here. I had originally gotten the porpoise class that is excellent. Currently I'm testing a mod for RFB. I have to use either the Gato or Balao class for the mod. There was no way I was leaving port in the rust bucket stock skins.:x I loaded up the Gato and Balao skins. Quite nice! I imagine this is how they looked because these were new boats straight out of the yards. Fresh paint and looking smart:up: Great job!

Skins look great

Here is a website that you may find interesting regarding USN camo schemes for WWII - the link is for the submarines but it covers the entire USN including correct FS Numbers, who had what when.

Alright, I just noticed an odd problem (I hope this hasn't been stated before). I had previously installed the black Salmon textures and last night I tried out a late war Salmon for the first time and it had stock late war hull textures with new black tower textures! Tried early war Salmon as well but is was all black as intended.. Any ideas?

Any chance for a Measure 10 (all gray) skin?
