Hey danlisa have seen your great work on sigs on this thread. Was wondering if you you could make one for me? I have had ago at making a few but have not made any that really make me go wow. But i was really impressed with your work on here.:up:

Ok im being lazy, if someone wants to make me a sig. Sig's usually reflect your personality or what your into. So im curious as to what others impressions are ;)

What is your fav IX boat/skin scheme? Am I correct in thinking that you prefer the caribbean/gulf of mexico for hunting?

Ducimus is right a sig should be personalized to the end user, so anyone wanting a sig should consider these details.

Ive gotten more days at sea in the caribean then i care to admit. So any uboat i skipper is at sea for a good long awhile. Usualy around 70 to 80 days per patrol on the average. Ive also had a few patrols near capetown in the GR grids that were as long as 140 days. Makes for a rusty boat ;) Usually an IXC.

I shall make a start then. Rusty:hmm:, I feel a new skin coming on. Capetown:hmm: This could prove interesting.

I'll just give some samples of my work in case anyone would like something..

These are sigs I have done for others as well as myself..and some that I just did to have templates to simply add a name to if someone likes it.

Are most of the backgrounds from the render: difference clouds in PS. I love that effect. My fav is the Klingon sig, I'm a bit of a trekkie.

Is the boat in your sig not from in game?

I welcome the diversity of sigs as the forums will get boring very quickly if eveyone had in game shots. Only so much you can get while playing.

Danlise, can you add the Cross with Gold oak leaves and diamonds please!

The sigs backgrounds are made using a variety of Brushes,Filters,Effects etc..I begin with a black and white simple cloud layer and go from there.Usually end up with around 10-16 layers per sig depending on what effects I want.

To give an idea..the Final Fantasy sig I start with as stated above a black and white simple cloud layer and this image..

Then went from there with brushes,effects and different filters.As well as using custom shape tool for the final fantasy sig.The background half circles you see are actually a Copyright symbol from the custom shapes tool.

As for the Uboat in my sig,that is a pic of a Revell Uboat model and not an in game sub shot.

The Final Fantasy and Master Chief from Halo are my 2 newest I just did yesterday.I have really refined my sigs to get better background looks to them compared to my earlier sigs like my SH3 sig.
