Ok the best thing you can do is Uninstall as much as you can of old, boring, unused programs that you can and also clear out as many stray bits that you can find of say old log files, images, video's, mp3's ect ect. Then grab Partion Magic (any version, I use v.8) and use that to redo your HDD partions and make them bigger. This will mean at least 1 partion will most likely have to go. Now the good bit about partion magic is that it can redo partions on the fly without data loss. Its not 100% recommended by the makers of Partion Magic, as always the CYA policy is to back up first. BUT I have been using Partion Magic for over 5 years now and todate never had any drama with it.
1's thats done you will now have room to breath on your C: drive. If nothing else at least make sure you get more space on your C: drive and Defrag it. Since its the Drive used to run your OS (therefore your PC from) its always advisable to leave C: drive with at least 30% of the drive empty to allow for system maintance and other system related apps.
In fact as a rule I only ever install the OS and system related apps/files to my C: drive. I never install anything else to C: drive. That includes games, 3D rendering programs ect ect. Thats what D:,E:,F:,G:, H:, I:, J: and K: HDD's are for. ;)
