just one question, are these pics of the things in your collection because surely you havent got an original enigma machine. (located in one of the pics).

Lol no the Enigma is not real! It's just a pic to blend well with the U-Boot items there, like the Grid-map and such!

you´re right. its just for a nice setting! its been arranged by a friend of mine, who´s a very good graphicdesigner ;) but the map is an original pic from the item i have!

regarding the badge:
i already have a few offers, which go up to 450 dollars. anybody bidding more? related to the prices of a great militaria-dealer in germany its worth is about 830 dollars!

urfisch 09-28-06 05:24 AM

hey folks! there are still some items left:

- 6 issues left of the magazines
- the golden uboat badge
- the grid map

;)

Really very nice...wish I had a heap of cash, I know I couldn't compete

Interesting that ebay wont allow anything with a swassie. I can understand their intentions but it really is a great shame for war memorabilia collectors.
Best deal I got on ebay was an RCAF cap badge from WW2 which I paid maybe a little over £10 for, gifted to a Canadian friend of mine who's uncle was a Halifax tail gunner.
I imagine you'd be looking at quite a bit more than that for the U-boat badge.
Thanks for showing.

urfisch 09-30-06 07:26 PM

yes. indeed ;) thanks.
...

the magazines are quite cheap with 25 dollars each. i now give rabate on the magazines, as no one seems to be interested.

for 6 issues its now:
100 dollar!

last bump - last chance

I'll buy a magazine! I live in the US... so what's the deal with that?

Rose 10-04-06 05:20 PM

O, wait, do we have to buy 6 for 100? Or can we get 1 for 25?

CybaGirl 10-05-06 08:03 AM

Gee that U-Boat badge would look nice along side my orginal metal alloy N.S.D.A.P badge, Luftwaffe metal cap badge and other eagle metal cap badge which I think came from an officers cap :).

But I too am a little strapped for cash at the moment :(..

Either way I hope all the items go to someone that will treasure and take extra special care of them.

urfisch 10-06-06 08:46 AM

sure, you can buy single ones.
no prob.

Did they cancel your auctions? Ebay has really gone down hill. You used to be able to sell any German items and even GUNS!

Uncle Goose 01-19-08 03:21 AM

Yeah, Ebay is really hypocrite. Communist items are sold without problems, knowing the horrors they did it's equally bad as the nazi's but they don't cancel those auctions.

The behaviour of ebay is absurd to say the least, I collect gasmasks and had a few occasions were Ebay deleted the item saying it was against their policy and stuff while these were just Belgian gasmasks with no markings whatsoever, mails to them did not clearify the situation because their answers were extremely vague. They also lack any knowlegde of WWII items.

urfisch 01-19-08 06:10 AM

back to topic, guys. there where no auctions cancelled. i only offer these items here now...and yes, i ship worldwide and you can pay me via paypal (including the fees)!

Wow, now this is the deadest thread I've ever seen brought back to like... it died in 2006... and back in 2008.

Wouldn't a new thread for new products be more appropriate?
