bradclark1, you’re lucky you don't have to put up with Blair and his henchmen and lackeys, like Kapitain and I we pay so much tax I lost count. Tax on this and that and back door tax, stealth tax, secret tax that has yet to come to light. It's a nightmare and what makes it worst all that tax is being wasted on Blair’s dumb plans. :nope: :nope:

Kapitan 03-27-06 08:36 AM

British homeowners to pay for home details

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Big News Network.com Monday 27th March, 2006 (UPI)

Homeowners in Britain may have to pay up to $1,700 to help provide the government with detailed information on their home, yard and even views.

Details of the Home Information Pack, which the government will require whenever a home is sold, are to be revealed Monday.

The pack is designed to provide details of a property on the market, but some Conservative Party members say the detailed assessments could be used to increase property taxes, the Sunday Telegraph reported.

Those refusing to cooperate in assembling the Home Information Pack will be fined about $350, the Telegraph said.

It's estimated about 1.4 million packs will be produced annually. Currently, house details are only shared among the buyer, seller and mortgage provider, with little or no government involvement.

I have commented often enough on the Qu'Ran, on it's history and the reasons that influenced it's present shape. I see no reason why I should change my opinion on it. If you people think that the Qu'ran is a modern, progressive book and will lead you to a better society, then you do not deserve it any better. But your ancestors who suffered for such a state of life being overcome, will turn in their graves.

Once again I say: there is no difference between fundamental and "real" Islam (I have explained where the misleading perception of the West, that this separation does exist, has come from, around one hundred years ago during the local rebellion against the Imperial powers in North-West-Africa). There is only one Islam - and that is the fighting Islam. there never has been a non_fighting Islam, nor is such an Islam descriobed in the Qu'ran or Hadith. It is a militant, intolerant ideology, driven by it's sense to be superior and having the mission to kill or convert5 anything non-Islamic, designed to justify conquest, and excusing intolerance by terms of a self-made, highly narcist cult that repalces culture and religion. It'S social ideal is a totalitarian society in which the single individual is nothing, the state/religion/community is all. Coexistence is unacceptable. attack is needed to delete coexistence, and to gain new ressources (remember, Muhammad was a predatory beduin in the first, who nevertheless wanted not to be called a bandit: thus his maneuvering into the religious feild where his demands could no longer be touched withoiut beeing called a heresy) If you do not realize this, if you think you must put it into more tolerant relations and approach it with reason and logic (Western style), then you are doomed to fall.

Our ancestors considered it to be modern to develope (under immense pains) beyond the unity of state and religion, that's why we have secular states in which both is kept separate. Qu'Ran preaches exactly the opposite, and not only that, no it preaches a religion of superstitious immitation only: immitation of virtual Muhammad that in that kind and form as he is described by Islam never has existed. How can educated Europeans consider an ideology to be progressive - if it leads them back to their violant past? In school you have learned why you should consider it as progressive, that these cruel, dark times of non-separation between religion and politics had been overcome.

Muslim societies have seen standstill in philosophy, sciences, theology, state theory, since centuries, social system and education since over thousand years. they are helpless agisnt there own tyrantsa, because these tyrants necessarily must be raised and supported by the system of politics and religion in one hand. The Western raise of all these virtues and developements, plus the canon of the typical Western values, Islam cannot compensate by any developement like that in it's own sphere. It works by only one simple mechanism: demanding what it wants, and when it does not get it, using force to take it, or saying it want's it because that is it's religion and Allah is demanding it like that. Intimidation and discrimination are part of the agenda. Critical questions get answered explicitly: with a sharp knife. when there are no questions anymore, then there is peace made in Islam. Cannot get more primitive like that. You better should be more careful what lecture you would call "progressive", guys.

again, there are several essay I have written on all this. Details there.

I take this as a veiled reference to Herr A. Hitler. Don't compare Skybird's or anybody's view on this forum with Hitler without the strongest evidence. To make this suggestion against a German from the post-war generation is really a blow below the belt.

Rabbi puts Old Testament curse on the enemy

By Ed O'Loughlin Herald Correspondent in Jerusalem
March 28, 2006

AS ISRAEL goes to the polls today, the spiritual leader of the country's largest Jewish religious party is promising heaven to those who vote for him and hell to anyone who supports the acting Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, 86, the spiritual leader of the ultra-Orthodox Sephardic Jewish party Shas, has issued an election flyer based on passages from the books of Judges and Deuteronomy - "Cursed be its inhabitants for not having come to God's aid" and "Cursed be those who do not uphold and obey the words of this law."

He adds: "I hereby issue a religious ruling that everyone must vote for Shas."

Rabbi Ovadia has previously stated that anyone who votes for Shas will go to heaven whereas supporters of Mr Olmert's front-running Kadima will be consigned to hell.

Regarded as God's man on Earth by many ultra-Orthodox Jews of non-European origin, Rabbi Ovadia has long played an active role in Israeli politics. His Shas party has held as many as 17 seats in the 120-seat Knesset and played kingmaker in several government coalitions.

Recently, however, the party has been partially eclipsed by corruption scandals and by the resentment of many secular Israelis who believe that most ultra-Orthodox Jews are taking advantage of the state's largesse to avoid military service and live on welfare while ostensibly studying religion.

The rabbi has previously condemned Arabs to hell and last year blamed Hurricane Katrina and the Indian Ocean tsunami on US support for the withdrawal by the Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, of illegal settlements from Gaza. He also cursed Mr Sharon for this "disengagement" from holy Jewish soil, saying he would "sleep and not wake up" - this was taken by many supporters to foreshadow the stroke that has left Mr Sharon comatose since January 5.

Although polls suggest that Shas will hold the 11 seats it won in the last Knesset, opinion surveys are proving particularly volatile in this campaign, with predictions from different polls often varying by several seats for the same party on the same day.

The mass daily Maariv has reported that Mr Olmert's party is worried about reports that "a series of astrologers, future-tellers and various mystics interviewed by the media in the past few days" have all predicted a huge last-minute upset for Kadima, which has seen some slide in its support in recent days.

From a peak prediction of 40 seats, the party is now tipped to win from 34 to 37 - still probably enough to lead the next government but vulnerable to a potential far-right blocking group of Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud, far-right pro-settlement or anti-Arab racist parties and perhaps Shas and the smaller Ashkenazi party, United Torah Judaism.

Mr Olmert has described the poll as a referendum on his plan of "convergence".

This sequel to Mr Sharon's withdrawal from Gaza would see Israel unilaterally setting its own borders along the line of the so-called "separation barrier" inside the West Bank, annexing parts of the occupied territories without Palestinian consent and withdrawing some smaller illegal Jewish settlements.

Pat Robertson, I believe it was (though I might be wrong as I have trouble keeping the evangelical fundies straight), did something similar too: blamed Katrina on the victims who he said brought it on themselves because there was so much sin in New Orleans.

Konovalov 03-28-06 06:30 AM

Yeah, I remember that. Rabbi Ovadia Yosef also said some 'charming' things about Sharon which I'm sure Sharon's family rightly were disgusted with.

Also well before that wack-job naive President of Iran called for the wiping off the map and destruction of Israel recently, the spiritual leader of the Shas Party in Israel, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, had in 2001 called for the annihilation of Arabs in one of his sermons. A fundie is a fundie no matter the religion.
